Pharmacist incredibly unhelpful. Attendants lovely. As a type one diabetic, I require regular injections. Due to the heat ( more usage) and working away I had run out of Novarapid with no access to my regular pharmacy.
Not only did he want to charge me for the insulin (I get it free as a diabetic) he was no help in getting an emergency prescription from my own GP, something the assistants said would be no issue.
I cant complain highly enough about this guys LACK of assistance.

The pharmacist here refused to vaccinate our child at the appointment we had booked (and paid for!), saying that the computer did not show that we had an appointment. The booking was made by a member of staff at the pharmacy and I was even given an appointment card (see photos). His attitude was rude and unhelpful. It would have taken him only 5 minutes to administer the vaccine, even if there had been a computer error which had erased our booking. He has asked us to bring our child back in 10 days' time for another appointment, but I have no confidence that he will honour that appointment either. It's terrible service considering that the second dose of the vaccine is supposed to be administered in a narrow timeframe following the first dose, and we paid in advance for the second dose. Once we've had the vaccine we've paid for, we won't be going to this store again and would advise people to avoid the pharmacy.

Most of the staff seem to be practised in avoiding customers rather than dealing with them.
Their knowledge of their own products is also terrible as we found out today searching for a particular boots product which they say didn't exist, but is online for all to see. This is not an online only item either, the website clearly states in store.

Don't think I will ever go back again . The pharmacy was shut , but I needed advice. A woman from behind the counter shouted that they were closed and to get served at one of the tills . How rude ! Luckily I found a very nice gentleman who helped me . I'm a elderly lady not good on my feet with a disabled husband and struggle to get into town . Surely people should expect better from Boots unless of course they have lowered their standards.

Great shop that stocks some brilliant brands and it's worth getting an advantage card for the points too

Visited Boots in Burton on Trent today. I don't usually do reviews on shops as we all shop for different products etc. However today I feel I must congratulate Kerry on the main tills for her excellent service in helping me pack several bags of shopping. All with a smile and friendly approach.
