Been like this for weeks now! Not a very friendly environment in there, I tend to go to Superdrug now it's got full shelves and happier looking staff. The only reason I go in that Boots now is to collect my prescriptions, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

I have changed my pharmacy from this Boots as everytime I went to collect my prescription, it was closed without warning at completely arbitrary times. The picture included was taken at around 3pm on a weekday. No explanation given whatsoever.
The one time I was able to pick up my prescription, I had to wait around 45 mins.
What is the issue here? I’ve never experienced this before in any other pharmacy or shop. Avoid.

One of the poorest managed stores in the area. The number of times the store has been closed at short notice or with extended lunches is inexcusable. Better planning needs to happy to avoid these issues.

Today the whole store is closed because there is no pharmacist - surely the rest of the store can be open at the very least??

The review is about what my wife and I witnessed while we were in here and couldn't believe it was happening.

So, a few days ago my wife and I dashed into this Boots to get a shampoo. Upon entering the shop, there was an old lady being served at the till, by a young gingery-blonde haired lady. The old lady bought several items and asked some more questions about more items they were selling from behind the till and a bag. The young lady's attitude was absolutely appalling, disgusting and extremely rude, rolling her eyes, smirking ,making fun of the elderly customer and plainly ruining that customer's day. Furthermore, she pushed the bag of items to the elderly customer's chest and shouted "next customer, please". The lady left really upset and almost crying.

I don't know how the recruitment takes place here but that is nowhere near an acceptable attitude towards the elderly or anyone else for that matter. Shame on the staff and the management for accepting and rewarding this.

I have changed my prescription request from lallys to be send to boots here. And this is honestly the worst pharmacy i have seen in my whole life. Staff isnt nice, they act like they do you a favour to serve you, and they never have or are late with my prescription. And why are they closed for most of the time? How is this even still working. DO NOT GO THERE.

Pros: very well located, easily accessible from any place in Southsea. One of the staff (young lady from Eastern Europe) is extremely nice, professional and helpful.

Cons: notoriously understaffed and most of the people working there (save for the aforementioned lady) are not very proactive. It is so severely understaffed that they often have to close the whole branch down early.

Poorly staffed and 90% of the existing staff are unpleasant. Toxic atmosphere, long queues and it is becoming really hard to know when it'll be open.
