Excellent service, expert opticians, polite & welcoming staff.
Booked my appointment online for eye tests upon a request from my GP, They dealt with my health concerns with lots of care and done all sort of eye tests professionally.
Staff were kind & not pushing customers to buy, they even volunteered to repair my old glass frame for free to make it suitable for use longer (I appreciate that).
They have different choices of frames & vouchers can be redeemed smoothly.
I was very happy with their services and would definitely recommend:

Excellent Boots. Great food selection and as always their meal deal is good value.
Nice variety of sandwiches, juices/smoothies and protein bars.
Also bought some own brand first aid supplies. W/w same concentration of active ingredients so should be the same at half the branded price.
Would recommend.
Also this Boots had at least 2 friendly till staff.

4/10/22 currently 09:21 and the store is yet to be open. Chilled goods are left outside as well as pharmacy prescriptions due to the store not being open. It can take a long time to get served here.
Store finall opened at 09:27. Opening staff need to get here on time in future

Really bad experience at Boots today. I had one person in front of me at the pharmacy and only managed to walk out from there 28 minutes later. I had to pick up a medicine for which they had received the prescription 2 days ago. It was a shambles, from finding it to packing it. Despite I had been waiting for a relatively long time already, the assistant was busy sorting out a prescription for the day after. Really not impressed today, sorry!

They need to improve their stock! They never seem to have the things I need. Quite frustrating to be told to go to a bigger Boots when having one in my area

I'm very sorry to have to report the pharmacy is rapidly going downhill since Sarah the technician left. In my latest experience I have received a double dose of one of my prescribed medications, one at the correct strength and one at half strength as per my previous prescribed dosage. Fortunately, I am still able to manage my medications and realise when a mistake has been made and report back. However, this could be a positively dangerous situation for someone less able! Overall the impression my wife and I have of the current running of the pharmacy is summed in the word -CHAOTIC!

I'm very pleased to report a vast improvement in the dispensary and now would give it an improved rating of 3*. Please keep up the improvement!

I'm very sad to have say service has gone backwards. I see I used the word CHAOTIC in my original review, I would describe the service being provided at present as WORSE THAN CHAOTIC! Patients are not receiving the service they should be receiving and the excuse 'I'm just a trainee' is NOT ACCEPTABLE when dispensing medications. WHERE IS THE TRAINER TO SUPERVISE?

Useless. Booked a flu job for early December. Boots cancelled the day before. Rebooked for tomorrow, and just got a text that they had 'moved' the appointment to next Thursday, which I cannot do. If they can't commit to keeping vaccination appointments there's no point in booking in the first place. Very disappointing service.
