Space NK Kensington

Tried to go in a half hour before closing time on a Saturday and they wouldn't let me in. Seemed pretty rude as they didn't offer any explanation. If you plan to go to this location, please be wary of their hours.

One of my friend entered the shop 10 minutes before closing last Saterday. She wanted to use a voucher received by email. The staff was extremely rude and did not accepted the totally valid voucher. Staff was really eager to close the shop rather than helping customer. Very unpleasant. Apparently, after reading other reviews it is not the first time!

I've visited a few different Space NK stores, and this by far is the worst! My experience consisted of the following:

1. No greeting or help upon arrival, instead I had to listen to a Sales assistant gossip to a friend about things he should probably only be saying in private.

2. When a Sales assistant did finally help me, she was completely miserable throughout the whole thing - never understand why people work in CUSTOMER-FACING ROLES when they clearly hate it!

3. I wanted to exchange a product that I didn't have a good reaction to, and I used it for just over a week to be sure, but the way the Sales assistant responded to me over it was as if I had just stolen something. i mean, it is your policy after all, so what's the problem?

4. Several of the products that I did want to buy as part of the exchange were not sold in store, and instead of the Sales assistant guiding me to what could be similar, she just kept staring at me for a decision, basically as if i was wasting her time! What i couldn't understand, however, was why they didn't offer me a gift card instead? Either way i'm spending it at your store.

All in all, a rubbish experience and I certainly won't be visiting it again!

Shout out to the Windsor store though, they were brilliant, helpful, and basically everything you would expect from a retailers like Space NK, so I definitely will continue to visit this store in future!

Absolutely terrible customer service. The girl in the makeup area clearly doesn't know what she is doing there. Save your time and go somewhere where people actually want to work and enjoy selling their products.

great selection, i use by terry and i can get products there. i had a make over and i really enjoyed it. i will visit next time j am in london.

Genuinely you could not hope for a more disappointing store or worse staff. Such a shame as products are excellent.

Today is a bank holiday so I checked the opening hours here and on their website to make sure I don’t waste a trip. Both showing normal opening hours. Turned up, and the store was closed.

Is it too much to ask that accurate and up to date information is provided so customers don’t waste their time?

It’s 4:35 pm and shop must be open till 6 pm but it’s closed. It’s a pity. I’ve been losing time came here
