I use this for the pharmacy and there are 2 ladies that go above and beyond. It always surprises me when one of them remembers my name!
If my Dr has not sent the prescription (which is often), then boots 'advance' me as they know I need my meds

The female pharmacist here is so friendly and sweet. I had to speak with her in the consultation room rather than over the counter and she made me feel so comfortable. In past experience here when I’ve had to speak to a pharmacist in the room it’s usually very tense and uncomfortable. It was the complete opposite this time. Even though they didn’t have the product I needed, she didn’t try to upsell me the expensive stuff. Buy 5* for her customer service, she is clearly amazing at her job and I wished I had gotten her name. (Saturday 29th October, early morning, lady wearing a pink hijab and flowery blouse)

They don't have self checkout machines, so you have to queue up in a crowded corner of the shop in everyone's way.

Thoughtful staff, particularly Mandy the store manager who goes the extra mile to care for customers. She offered me the consultation room; noticing I was in need of a quiet space to care for my newborn. Excellent pharmacy

Beckenham store looked as if it was closing down. Hardly any stock. Have to shop online after all. Never mind.

Went to collect my order (as received an email saying it was ready for collection), only to be ignored by the sales assistant (she was busy putting stock away). Eventually she turned around. She went to find my goods but said there'd been a mistake. It wasn't there. She wrote my name and number on a piece of till receipt and told me they'd call in two days time.
Three days later, I called the store only to be told by a rude and grumpy woman that my order wasn't there and she'd refund me my money. Two days later I received an email refunding my money but it was only half the cost.
Trying to get in contact with Boots is impossible. 😡😡😡😡

Often not everything's in stock even if it says so on the website. Not displaying half of their stock.

For the 6 years that I have been picking up my prescription I have found the staff helpful, attentive, and friendly despite them being extremely busy for most of the time. The pharmacy staff do a great job and whilst there have been a few delays in having my prescription ready, the staff have always provided me with an adequate back up prescription whilst the main one is being processed.
