My wife has just left A&E with her prescription for meds being sent to Boots Haywards Heath.
Nothing complicated, painkillers etc.
Boots were unable to fulfill the prescription due to ‘high demand’
My wife can hardly stand at the moment, and the earliest they could do was next Friday 6 days.
To get her prescription and be able take it to a local independent resulted in an argument and my wife in tears.
Well done Boots for being generally useless, rude and unhelpful, to treat a customer in such a manner is simply disgusting
Needless to say the local independent pharmacy had everything in stock and fulfilled the prescription in 5 minutes. No fuss, gave my wife a seat whilst she waited lol

Really disappointed with the service, i am a customer and my details had been removed from the system after i had been in 2 wks prior. The time before they could not do my prescription and could tell me when it would be in or when they would order it. This was an emailed prescription and they couldn't release it so another pharmacy could pick it up and gave me a printed copy which i had to drive to another pharmacy and got it the same day. This other pharmacy could have picked it up electronically when i called them saving me 2 trips. Service definitely declined, they are really busy, so why close America lane? Which was a lovely friendly service.

It's Boots so... it is what it is? Lol. I remember when I was a child they had these red and blue potion decorations at the pre-scription counter. If my memory serves correct Boots tends to have the things we're after at sainsburys and superdrug etc but sometimes Boots prices are better... im not sure tbh it's been like 3 - 4 years since I went in there lol

I stopped using this pharmacy years ago because of the appalling rudeness of the pharmacist. Unfortunately my GP made the mistake of sending my child’s prescription to them so I had no choice but to return. This time the same pharmacist REFUSED to give me my son’s medication because they apparently now “don’t take walk-ins”. Once again rude, arrogant and absolutely no concern for patient wellbeing. As my child’s medication was urgent, I took my prescription to a small local pharmacy who were only too pleased to help. Once again, disgraceful (lack of) service from Boots pharmacy in Haywards Heath. Avoid at all costs.

Appalling service! My son had tonsillitis and was feeling very poorly. The surgery sent an antibiotics prescription to boots in Haywards Heath and I was told that they were too busy to serve me the prescription and that I had to go somewhere else. Had many problems with repeat prescriptions with them few years ago and they were very rude, to the point that we changed pharmacy. Avoid if you can. Shame on you!

The store itself is fine but the pharmacy has gone downhill rapidly in the last couple of years. Firstly they started charging £5 for delivery then the waiting time for prescriptions became ridiculous. Typically if I put a prescriptions in , 10 days later they will say they only recieved prescription the day before. This is the most used excuse! The doctors then say they sent it electronically as soon as I put repeat in. Lately they have been soshort staffed they have been closing altogether and at the weekend the excuse for no medication ready was the system was down. This morning I called and was told the meds that I ordered nearly 2 weeks ago won't need ready until this afternoon! I'm now going to request a change of pharmacy which I've held off doing as the staff themselves are generally pleasant and helpful but I can't go on lime tvjd. I was once left with no medication for 3 weeks. Enough is enough.

Come on, Boots. Pull yourselves together. Tried to call in today for a few items. Astonished to find they are closed from 13.00 - 14.00. Are we trying to emulate European-style opening hours? If so, why not mention it on Google Maps? I'd finished the rest of my shopping and couldn't afford to wait 45 minutes until they reopened so had to leave empty-handed.

Helpful staff in the main shop with great displays.
Edit 2022 Boots have just tried to charge a 97 yr old women of my acquaintance £55.00 for home delivery for a year, I would rather pick it up for her myself, Shame on Boots!
