To The Manager I feel the amount of prescriptions that the few hardworking staff have to get through isn’t reasonable. When the Boots at The Forum closes in December the amount will increase even more. The cupboard and small area they have to work in needs a complete rethink too. Always plenty of choice but not as much as in previous years. Bare minerals stock being depleted. Good store, mid price range, can buy some things cheaper elsewhere.

Was here to buy some aftershave for myself. Served by a charming gentleman who helped me. Sorry, didn’t get his name. Bought my favourite Sauvage by Dior. Great deal on for a 300ml bottle and got a gift and samples too which I didn’t expect. Great customer service. Will come back for Christmas gifts soon🤙

If you are stressed out by self-service checkouts, avoid Chester Foregate Street store like the plague - there appears to be only one staffed checkout, with staff doing their best to defend it from any interaction with customers. Needless to say the queues are horrendous. I'll stick to my local Boots branch in future - they still treat their customers like people, not cattle.

If you like Turkish food, this is the place to go... Will definately visit again...

I went into boots Chester today to ask if it was possible to exchange a bottle of perfume a refill bottle that my husband had bought by mistake , a lady of the no7 counter came to help and said because the wrapping wasn’t on it she didn’t think she could do anything, but called the store manager the store manager was amazing very friendly and let me exchange a £100 bottle , for a normal bottle instead of a refill.I definitely hadn’t used it and wasn’t aware that it had wrapping on it when my husband bought it for me , she was very kind and helpful, I have to say the no7 lady short blond hair gave me a back handed comment that they would not be able to sell it now and seemed in a bad temper. I’m only glad the store manager actually helped me which was very kind indeed . Thank you .

We went to the pharmacy and the staff were really helpful. Boots was very busy, with queues and waits for the prescriptions. The staff remained calm and professional, ensuring all the safety checks were done.

What to thank you lady on the pharmacy counter (sorry didn’t get her name). The queue was sizeable with only one lady at the counter. There were a few people in front of us and all were complaining about something or other. She handled everything in a calm and professional manner. I enquired about getting the right flu medication as my dad has high blood pressure. She went out of her was make sure I purchased the right medication. Super helpful and polite.
