Not a bad place, had okay staff and very effective at getting the job done!

This Boots is a good Boots pharmacy, always have helpful staff and the inside is cooler than outside, down side at times is how things are laid out, its not much of an issue, just seems the customers are all over the place, so are staff, its not much yet its a tad cramp, more items also are upstairs so it's sorta a different store when entering two places.

4 stars - excellent service, just times a struggle navigating due to aisles.

Edit: now gone down to 2 stars, Boots services are abysmal for customer care, multiple times I've requested for prescriptions to be sent here, multiple times they keep saying "gotta call the other Boots where its at", why oh why should time be wasted on such a menial task? I ain't no jockey nor slave, waste my time then take my actions, its obvious words fall on deaf ears, actions can speak louder and if so, Boots, you better understand your customers much better than being ignorant and ignoring requests on multiple times!

Although it’s only 10mins, closing at 17:20, when the operating hours are until 17:30 meant I missed out on medicine I needed. Most people work until 17:00 so staying open till 17:30 is important. Normally good experience though, hence the 3 stars.

Attended a flu jab appointment yesterdsy morning and the organisation left much to be desired. COVID jabs were being administered ar the same timecandvit took a while for flu jab only customers to becsiphined off into a separate , smaller queue. Seen fairly quickly despite the computerised systems experiencing overload with two different jabs on offer in one session. Disappointed to be subjected to questions about medical history to qualify forr a jab when it should have been a matter of being in a qualifying age group. Did not relish having to be reminded of having chronic kidney disease in order to not to pay for a routine flu jab ELLIS COXON.

First time actually properly visiting to buy products as previously only been for covid jab. Excellent range of products from numerous named ranges, and I was happy with my Clarins and No7 products. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the manager went above and beyond her remit to ensure I was looked after and received the current advantage card promotions. Excellent store and will definitely be returning

Normally no problems with this Boots. However, yesterday I went for a pre-booked flu jab appointment, checked in, waited for 20 mins and was then told that there was no pharmacist available so I could come back in two hours or reschedule. Very annoying.

I visited boots in market place durham city today to collect urgent medication that was issued from my surgery nr coventry. Whilst there was issues with my surgery addressing issuing my prescription to boots durham the assistance from all the pharmacy's staff on this occasions has been second to none this morning many thanks to you all .

Shopped in here on a Saturday in the run up to Christmas and only one assistant on the tills! I approached another member of staff asking if I could pay at their till but was advised I couldn’t. 2 members of staff standing with their mobile phones appearing to be texting! Shocking service given it’s probably the busiest time of year.

Poor customer service today. Pharmacy cashier occupied booking an appointment for a customer in front of me which needed endless info. Once given the information by was lost by the computer and I was basically told to go away!
