To whom this may concern;

My mum came home telling me she was spoken to rudely by one of the cashier’s at Boots.

My mum asked if there was a specific product in stock and the male cashier replied “if it’s not there then we don’t have it”

My mum did not like his tone of voice and as we both work in the retail sector that’s not how you are suppose to speak to customers.

My mum also asked for advice on products and the what products is most suitable...The male cashier just said “yeah they are all the same” with no actual answer or specifics.

I see why boots have had so many 1 star reviews due to the colleagues that work there are quite frankly rude and minimal retail training.

The colleague in question is named “Kareem” - I look forward to meeting you in person. 🤓

This Boots is small than the usual ones. It doesn't have much drugstores skincare or makeup products. But this boots pharmacy is really good for Bengali speaking people as the pharmacist and some staff speak really good bengali as well as English. While I was waiting to be served they were serving an elderly bangali uncle and their patience and behaviour towards him was outstanding. My father is also a regular customer here and talks very high of them always and now I know why. Well done on your great service and for a great team of pharmacists.

Although a small branch, they have everything that one would need. What they don’t have you can order online and then collect. Sorted.
They keep it simple, and this pharmacy has all the essentials, which you can find in seconds. Someday everyone will try to figure out how this branch gets it so right, but I doubt anyone will ever be able to perfect what these have got going. All they need to do is add a small fridge for food, and maybe it would be an idea to start stocking Polaroid film again like they used to, and then customers can party like it’s 1999. Even if you don’t buy anything from here, it is worth travelling here and just taking a look around. This Boots branch should be a listed building and deemed a national landmark.

The Boots in Shepherds Bush doesn't have the same variety as the one in Stratford but you'd find what you need.

Shop worker clearly saw my mum was Muslim and recommended a haram product to my mum knowing she only has halal and vegetarian or vegan ingredients. He was Muslim himself. He then had the galls to say it is not the responsibility of staff to know what’s in their products if they recommend them. Pure ludicrous. Keep to your local pharmacy who understands your community needs.

Ageist staff do not help my mother with prescription requests face to face or by phone. They turn her away and ask her to get one of her children to order prescriptions. Which is not a problem, but why turn her away in the first place?

I had my flu jab today (23.09.21) staff are very friendly and approachable. Mr. Rashid who administered the jab was very accommodating. Highly recomended.
