Boots

I like the staff, but the pharmacy on perhaps 30% of occasions over the past 10 months have not had a prescription in stock requiring for it to be ordered. I was informed this is because being a less busy branch they hold less stock. Why can't stock be ordered anyway, then, if not taken after a certain time frame, arrange for it to be sent to another more needy store? The small independent pharmacy next door had a couple of prescription items in store that Boots did not. Something we have to get used to and accept?

It’s not the biggest store but has all the basics and more. For a quick shipping visit this is perfect. Small but perfectly formed. We have been using this for years and have always had a good experience. If you use them regularly get a Boots card and get cash back.

Great local institution. Although it's a very small branch with limited stock in some departments, it is easy to order online at the till and have it delivered free the next day. The staff are lovely and always go out of their way to help, and in particular the manager, Louise, is an absolute gem. Another shop I pray won't be closing down.

I’m sad to say that today I dealt with a very off-hand pharmacist at Boots in Rye. My mother had asked me to check something on her prescription. I asked the pharmacist a question (I would like to add I was very polite to her) and she spoke to me as if I was a total idiot. She had a very rude and impatient manner and even had the cheek to tell me wait until she’d finished telling me something before I asked a question!! What’s wrong with a smile and a bit of patience and understanding. Some customer service training would definitely be helpful for her. Usually the staff at Boots are utterly delightful and helpful and know and care for their regular customers.

The staff are very welcoming shame they aren't very friendly. Hence only 4 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟 must try harder.

Terrible branch of Boots. You never know if it's going to be open. The once reliable friendly staff have all gone. You get a text to tell you your prescription is ready, yet when you go to collect they don't have it. They are so unprofessional. It would be better if they closed down altogether so the locals knew where they stand.

Nice place to go for football, a drink and entertainment. Good bar staff and worth a visit, bar and garden has been improved well. You can have a nice meal or snack for very reasonable prices. Love when they have music bands or singers as it's a great venue. There's also a market Wednesday morning 10 am to midday.

I've used this boots for a number of years and had great service there before. Recently they have gotten a new pharmacist who really shouldn't be working with the general public, she's rude, & off hand and had me reduced to tears today. The rest of the staff were lovely but I really wish they hadn't changed there pharmacist.
