The pharmacy part of the boots I wouldn’t recommend it, He doesn’t look after the planet, the guy simply gives you a pen and paper for the person to write down all your personal details down A. Bad for the planet. B. That personal details is it going to be brunt, shredded or pass on to a criminal. C. The pen and paper - how many peoples hands have been on it, hygiene gel !!!

Tho you say and spell your name - he simply doesn’t get it

I don’t know how much paper the pharmacy gets through and how many trees is being cut down

I have been to pharmacies all my life and this 1 I’m gobsmacked by

I won’t be using this pharmacy again

THE slowest customer service and till staff - quite possibly - in the country.

Easily expect to wait 10 minutes if there is a member of the team actually at the till - regardless of whatever you are buying let alone whether there is someone in front of you being served too. Add 20 minutes if there is no one at the till when you're ready to buy. Shocking.

Homophobic staff member in 2022

I can’t believe what my friend had to experience last Saturday (25th June) in this Boots Hays Galleria Counter Street
Unit 8-11 London, SE1 2HD.

He just went to the pharmacy asking about advice because HIS BOYFRIEND had a stomachache. The guy who was attending felt really offended and ask “WHO”? So my friend answered “my boyfriend” and sadly, the guy started to shout to him saying “I’m not serving you” and “actually the pharmacy is closing“.

I’m really sad and disappointed because NO ONE deserves to be treated like that. I don’t think this staff member should be working facing public with this mentality. It’s a shame nowadays those things still happening.

Pharmacist rude, didn't want to serve even though the timing mentioned boots is open till 6.30pm. Poor customer service. They rather prefer to have patients die without giving out the prescribed meds. Complaining to trading standards for not doing their duty during opening hours.

Repeated poor service at the prescription counter, arriving early to an empty store, I informed two members of staff at the prescription counter that I wanted to collect a prescription. I was repeatedly told to wait for the pharmacist, which I did at the counter. 20 minutes later, the very polite and professional pharmacist came out with no idea I was waiting, finally took my details and told me I should have informed the counter staff I was there. This type of thing is a regular occurrence here. If there was any alternative place to collect prescriptions locally I wouldn't use this pharmacy.

I walked to this store today to buy some cold and flu medicine only to discover that the pharmacy section was closed. It was then that I remembered that I had gone to the same store on a weekend a couple of months ago to pick up a prescription and the pharmacy section was also closed. I can't understand how it can be justified to not have a medicine service on weekends. There is a large local population which, based on my research today after my failed visit to the Hay's Galleria store, has no access to pharmaceutical services on a weekend. I was unable to find any other pharmacies in the area that were open on a Sunday. Considering that this is Zone 1 London, it's a disgrace that such an essential health service is unavailable. Medication needs are not just Monday to Friday within business hours. What is the point of a pharmacy that is open but won't dispense medications, including OTC?

**Do not get your medicine here.**

Sent the medicine to this Boots on a Saturday as it says they are open on the weekend on Google. However, the pharmacy is closed on the weekend it's just the store that is opened. Annoying that they have wrong information on Google but fine.

I go back the next day and the prescription is not ready. They tell me to come back the next day, and the prescription is not ready again. Just to clarify this was for antibiotics so needed urgently and not something that I regularly have at home. At this point, I stand my ground and argue to get it ready. As I wait I go grab a bottle of water and although I am the first one in line to pay it takes me 20 minutes to pay because the staff just chats, ignores you or walks away. There was a line of about 10 people behind me and the lady at the till just walks away and doesn't come back. Honestly this boots is a joke, avoid if you can.

This is my local pharmacy. No weekend service. EXTREMELY slow staff despite the queues. Often receive texts saying your medicine's ready, to arrive and it's not there and not even in stocks.

Scores 2 points for being literally metres away, otherwise avoid and support a local pharmacy.
