I was really unhappy with the service today.
Firstly I was told that I was late for my appointment; I wasn't, and was able to prove this with my appointment card.
When I was given my trial contact lenses the receptionist sat down and observed me. Whilst i'm a contact lens wearer of 32 years, I still become anxious when I'm removing / inserting lenses outside my usual routine. I explained to the receptionist that her observation of me was increasing my anxiety. Her response was that she had to watch me as there had been a mistake last time!
I think if it was felt that I needed close monitoring this should have been explained (as a 45 year old qualified nurse I personally feel it was unnecessary for a shop assistant / receptionist to assume this role.)
I'm genuinely appalled by the standard of customer care; I left the store and won't be returning. There is a real need for some customer service training!

Well laid out and easy to find what your looking for. My only observation was the products that I wanted were not available and the alternative was more expensive. A good location in Swansgate shopping centre with free parking available.

This is the best Boots I have ever shopped in .I find the prices very competitive- 99.9% of what I purchase is less expensive than the discounted stores- plus the quality is far better. They have loads of special offers - expecially on the designer hair products. I also purchase all my electrical hair appliances from here- Remington as they are less expensive than on Ebay. But what stands this store out from others is the quality of Boots branded products- and the staff. If you cannot find - the staff are always happy to help. . Especially Karen & Sarah. I would highly recommend this store

Staff in store- they are lovely but had such a disapointing experience in the pharmacy today. Only went to ask about a medication my son has on prescription and the way one of the ladies working there treated me almost made me cry. No empathy, no eye contact, typing something on the computer and interupting me to tell me she s listening when she clearly wasn t. When a pharmacist came in she couldnt even describe my issue .it s not even about customer service, it s about being a human, which for some people it s too hard

Staff are not very helpful and don't really know what products are available in store.. staff should have more training and how to handel customers...

Great customer service at the pharmacy, they made all the calls for me to be transferred there with this prescription and got the product in 10 min, Impressed.

Just left. Stood at the pharmacy for 10 minutes. One staff member at the back of the pharmacy working hard on prescriptions (there was actually only one before me). Not too stressed about that. Second lady (east Asian, colourful hair) then came to the pharmacy, walked past me and refused to acknowledge me and went straight to work back of house. I continued standing there for another 2 minutes before I realised that neither of these women have any intention of even saying "hey I'll be with you in a second". Went to Superdrug next door where someone acknowledged me as soon as I got to the pharmacy counter.
