Wish I had done it sooner!

My gravel bike is now beautifully quite. The gears change smoothly and quickly after a Bronze service by Ben. Lee also saved me a fortune by steering me away from expensive and unnecessary upgrades. Ben also kept me informed as the service progressed.

In future I would get them to do a quick service any new bike I buy to make sure it is in peak condition.

Big "Thank You" to Lee and Ben at The Cogfather for my recent bike service. They found extra work needed, phoned me with details and made the effort to keep within my budget. Despite needing extra parts, still completed and returned my bike on the agreed day so I could enter my event. Would recommend!

I found the Cog Father after being recommended on Facebook. I was a little apprehensive at first as previously I’ve used high street shops for repairs and servicing.
I needn’t have been concerned as Lee provides a brilliant service. I’ve taken multiple bikes there now and have been very happy every time. Lee clearly knows what he’s doing and provides an honest reliable service.

My Brompton has just been serviced by Ben after I had neglected it for a while. It’s come back looking like new and I’m now scared to get it dirty 😂 He clearly takes pride in his work which shows with the high level of work completed.

Lee services all of my bikes and my partner Sandy Dobiecki. Across road, cyclocross and MTB Lee not only is a very talented mechanic but he's a font of knowledge in terms of bikes and components. This year we looked to change the gear ratios on my Cx bike and Lee did an A class job fitting a MTB hanger and larger casette. He always thinks outside the box to find different solutions to problems. More than just your standard bike shop mechanic......taking me all the way to the podium for cyclocross this year. Lee recently helped resolve an issue I had with the bottom bracket on one of my bikes. I didn't know that there were so many different types, and tried to fit one that wasn't compatible with my chainset ☹️

Fortunately, Lee identified the issue and fitted the correct one for me at a very reasonable price.

If you need a cycle service or repair, try Lee. You won't be disappointed and I highly recommend him 👌

If I could give more stars I would. I rarely hand over a dirty bike to Lee but it always comes back spotless. Service and pricing is excellent as is the customer service. If you are in and around the Burgess Hill area - this is THE place to get your pride and joy serviced!

Lee is superb. A ton of experience and expertise, and a top guy. He takes the time to listen to your needs and then advises on options - making sure that the right specs, options and work is agreed. If you're precious about your bikes you can be sure they are in very safe hands with The Cogfather!
