Pedal Power

Not a standard customer but very happy with the friendly and helpful staff. After riding to Loughborough by recumbent trike, I needed a box for its flight home to Australia. As hoped for, Pedal Power had an unneeded empty box that a new bike had arrived in. More than I hoped for, they were happy to drop it of for me at my accommodation in Leicester Road. All at no cost! Recently moved to north of leicester and had to find a new local bike shop. After a mechanical that I needed some extra help with, these were the guys recommended to me. With my bike being so precious to me, finding the right place was important.

Brilliant. Quick turnaround even though they were incredibly busy! Great communication and lovely welcoming people. Explained everything in detail and gave welcomed adavice.

Thank you to Glen and his crew for a really positive and easy experience when purchasing my new bike. I ordered the bike online having waited over a year for one to come into stock somewhere and received a phone call the following morning to confirm the order and to organise collection. I also received a helpful call the day before collection just to confirm timings which I found reassuring.

I drove 3 hours to collect the bike and upon arriving the bike was ready to go and I was offered a cup of coffee and some biscuits! I really appreciated the gesture. Glen took me through the bikes set up, let me pick his brains a bit and helped me to load it into my car (he even gave me a spare inner tube and the remaining biscuits to give to me wife). I found everyone at pedal power very helpful, friendly and welcoming and wish I was a bit closer to have bike serviced there. I would highly recommend pedal power and thank them again for going that little bit further to make the whole experience really positive!

Recently bought a new mountain bike from these folks as they’re family run - bit more of a personal experience than buying online. Really friendly, when I collected, they kindly fitted a couple of extra parts I’d wanted upgrading, while I waited.
