I live nearby and I took my bike for full service, very happy with the result. Also the other day my bike's chain got twisted with one of the pedals, three loops, it looked something impossible to happen. And I just took it to the shop before they closed and very quickly they fix it!!

Bought a new bike recently and needed several bits and bobs to get me set up. Found this bike shop on Google and thought I’d check it out as it looked like a nice little local business (cba with these new hipster bike shops, they do my head in). The young lad and person who I presumed was the manager gave me great advice and fitted what I’d bought for my bike there and then, without me asking. Really friendly and approachable; very courteous even when answering my novice-level questions! Need some more stuff so will definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

Would not use this shop if they were the last cycle shop on earth...
Awful customer service. Simple gear fix on my son's bike, was told to expect it 2 days time and to receive a text. I called up, they'd lost my details. Was told to expect it next day, still no text, I called up again was told to expect next day, still no text so had to collect as we need it back for road safety on monday... if they couldnt do it and they knew i had a deadline why not tell me so I could have gone elsewhere?

Just perfect, friendly, approachable, patient, informative - all of the things you hope for and rarely get! AND they text you a link with the quote and price breakdown once they've inspected your bike, and you can choose which parts/repairs you want to go ahead with! Very cool and very fair. Great shop, this is now officially and exclusively my bike shop!

Knowledgeable and helpful staff, and I have been extremely happy with the bike service and repair, at a reasonable price with a quick turnaround. I’ve used them several times and will definitely return!

Friendly and polite and really helpful when entering the shop as I needed some reflectors he work a good deal for me

My two boys (age 5 and 6) use their bikes daily, but they needed a brakes and gears service. I was able to book a same day service a few days in advance. South London Cycles took the bikes at 10am, and had them both serviced by 3pm the same day. Amazing customer service - and they didn't charge an extra penny for the same day service.

Thank you South London Cycles - I've been coming to you since the 70s when you were Youngs Cycles, then the Bike Shop, then Pedal It. You are as good now as you have been in the past.

Cycled in solo on our tandem triplet towing our two boys’ bikes. Pedal It did an excellent job servicing all three bikes.

We have used South London Cycles numerous times now, they are super friendly, and will go to great lengths to help get you up and cycling again. They reasonably priced, highly skilled. We wouldn't take our bikes anywhere else now. "love these guys" .
