Had a flat on ride today. Luckily was close to Belper as I didn't fancy getting tools out and popped into Belper cycles. Had me back on the road in 15 minutes whilst serving other customers! Great service and price.

Possibly the worst bike shop I have ever known. There attitude is awful they just can’t be bothered. They advertise on their website, on google and on the front of their shop that they open at 8.30 on a Saturday yet the place is never open. I have missed out going on a group ride today all because they can not be bothered to open their shop at the time they advertise. When they are open they can’t be bothered to offer any advice or help you in any way.

Avoid this shop at all costs.

Sent our mountain bike for a service and listed 3 areas to look at. After the service, 1 item was fixed. The gears rattled in 2nd and third. The chain was dirty, cogs had grime on them. Basically, the guy in the shop was either incompetent at reading my notes, or they were slap dash, and did a bad job. Either way I have a bike that we paid £50 to service and it needs to be looked at by somebody who can do a good job. Annoyed, as my teenage son paid for the majority of this service, so you've taken his money and done a bad job. Not happy. Photos show the gears with the dirt. I ended cleaning this myself and re-lubricating it.

Really helpful staff. Sorted out my child's bike while I waited and was cheaper than I expected too

Went in with a broken chain. The fella fixed it straight away and only charged £5. Bargain.
