I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Roadroom: Amazing guys who really know their stuff. excellent customer service, they really go above and beyond! My dad's a cyclist with 40 years experience an he is very impressed indeed! Also custom made an excellent bike for my mother which she loves using!

Made aware I needed my bike soon as I need it to get to work, handed it on on Saturday was promised it by Wednesday was texted on the following Saturday it was ready to be collected and wasn’t made aware they hadn’t finished (or started) and needed it for longer. Was told they held it for longer as there was a cut in my tyre and didn’t know whether to change it but never text me to ask, collected my bike looked it over and hadn’t tighten the new spokes they replaced as well as raising my inner tube PSI to over 100 when it clearly states to pump up to 80 PSI on my tyre. Finally they made adjustment to my brake pinch point on my rims which was work not agreed on changing it from a point in which I was comfortable with cause me to have to change it back once I got home

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO DO ANY MINOR WORK ON YOUR BIKE

Went in to purchase a bike costing a £1,000 (a not insignificant sum I thought) .... spoke with a most pleasant chap who was helpful and said he would call me to clarify if he could find a better deal with the supplier, and if he had called I would have ordered a bike.... but he didn't. So I went on the internet, asked some questions via their contact page which were answered on a Sunday... and subsequently spent my money with them. It is a shame that simple customer focussed actions by high street retailers are lacking and no wonder the internet is taking so much business.... I have spent my life in sales and to me no matter how trivial the requirement the customer in your shop must not walk out with his money still in his pocket... seems obvious to me...
As you can see below, Paul did come back to me and was most polite and efficient in his response. Perhaps I was a little premature in my review...l have thus improved my rating and apologise for my impatience.

I took my bike in for a gear service and a few days later got a message saying it was done great I thought. I went to collect it and it turns out it had a service which was £97 ok I thought it might of needed it so I paid. Got home and it had the wrong chain no big deal. Asked them to change it and yep it was done ever if it took 3 weeks to get in and I had to phone them to see if it had arrived. I went for a ride on Sunday morning and the gears weren't great so again I spoke to the shop and was told it was probably a cable adjustment so I went back again to be told I would have to leave it with them for about a week. After 4 days I got fed up and picked it up and went elsewhere. On the same day at 5pm they looked at it and fixed it in 15min now that wasn't so hard was it . Just a little thought goes along way. I definitely won't bye any bikes from you again and definitely won't have any bikes repaired again. So disappointed. ( just to clarify as the road room seem to think they advised me on other work I may need! I never had a call or was told i needed any additional work)

Broken spoke on rear wheel whilst out riding. Just dropped into the shop and with quick pit stop Jack got to fixing it straight away, back on the road within 30mins. Bonus cup of tea too, thanks Will, much needed and appreciated. That’s customer service, many thanks Road Room team!

Minor mechanical (broken rear spoke) meant an impromptu visit to Mountain Mania on a busy Saturday morning. Thankfully the guys were able to do a repair within the hour. Excellent, helpful and reasonable. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant shop.Each member of their team is really passionate and knowledgeable about their bikes.

I received great advice and amazing customer service ..Both Andrew and Jake were brilliant and very helpful.

The shop has an extensive range of bikes and accessories.

The bike I purchased was carefully suited to my needs with every detail of he correct adjustments for me made .

In a World of sometimes “indifferent” customer service these guys shine out as examples of how it should be done .

Bought a bike from them a while ago and had a whole host of issues with the process, (too many to delve into in this review) which meant multiple trips to the shop and lots of money spent unnecessarily. I am usually a massive advocate for small local businesses due to their knowledge and advice. To their credit, the mechanics that serviced the bike were helpful and friendly enough. However, if you aren’t an expert in bikes the manager(s) may do their best to rip you off by overcharging and carrying out unnecessary services as they did with me. Safe to say I haven’t been back, and wouldn’t recommend it if you want to avoid being leeched of off.
