I've had quite a few things done here and never had any problems or needed to return to have anything remedied. I've had new wheels fitted, converted to tubeless, and had gears serviced. It's really convenient to drop off and pick up outside of work hours. My most recent visit was among other things for a gear service with rear cassette and chain degrease. You can see from the pictures how clean they got it. This is because they put it in a cleaning machine located on store and practically get it back to as good as new. Very happy.

What a fabulous experience, the customer service was brilliant.

We were served by a lovely man called Perry. He was very knowledgeable, with friendly manner, asking first what we wanted to do with the bikes he went through the different options available and gave us the information we need to make our choice.
I expected to have to order the bikes and wait, but we were in luck, med and large frame Trek bike were in window. We were helped with helmets, High Visibility waterproof jkt,( I would have brought the wrong size had Perry not explained I would need to have enough room to lean forward on my bike) and a substantial bike lock was essential.
The bikes needed to be PDI checked we were offered to have it that day but chose to collect the next day.
When we came to collect the next day we were again looked after by couple of very nice guys. (Sorry did not get names but one had arm in sling) who were also very helpful.

We found a letter on the bike and though it was copy of bill.
But Perry, as it was his day off had left a hand written letter Thanking us for our custom and was sure we would enjoy ourselves on our new bikes. And to contact him if we need any help. We were really touched by his thoughtfulness.
In these days of quick turnaround shopping, it was a pleasant change being given a first class service.
We certainly will be recommending Evan's Bikes and especially Havant branch and Perry Lee.
Thanks Again Perry.🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

To be honest I ordered my sons bike before I read all the reviews. I noticed Evans Cycles had a lot of bad reviews. I ordered the bike 6 days ago. I received an email and it showed it had arrived at shop in Havant! I phoned the same day and asked if I could collect bike and they were extremely helpful and said it would be ready within a couple of hours. I extremely pleased with the service of the Havant shop and will definitely use Evans Cycles again.

We came from Southampton to Havant today as all of our bike shops are shut on a Sunday and we're so glad we did. From the moment I called to check they were open, we received nothing but excellent service. Seth was friendly, knowledgeable and patient and at no point did we feel rushed or under pressure to make any decisions. The mechanic was only too happy to look at a bike wheel we brought in too and spent 20 mins checking the new bike over. I left with a beautiful Cannondale Quick hybrid. We will definitely be back.

Been in twice recently. Both times I've been treated very well. Two bikes were prepared for me to ride in the store. Online stock levels were checked, alternatives suggested and talked through with knowledge and experience. Jess and Seth were both great. For a large chain this is excellent service.

Maxim worked on my bike and went the extra mile to order parts when they were hard to obtain, he kept me well informed throughout, gave good advice on the work needed, whilst keeping costs as low as possible and ultimately did a great job, he is a skilled mechanic who takes pride in his work.

A good shop to actually see cycling gear. Unfortunately they did not have enough staff. Selling a bike is not a 5 minute job. I was spending £200 + on bike locks had to wait in line behind 3 other customers all waiting in excess of 15 minutes for a 30 second transaction. I understand the Evans may be having financial problems but this is not the way forward.

Very very uninterested staff today. Not interested in whether they sell me a brompton or not for £1470 £1700 for my new pizza delivery job. Tried free available staff on counter I was meat with the reply no idea.. if the bike was suitable for the rack and no real service response. Tried the workshop but the mechanic is just diddling with his phone pretending I'm not even talking. So I might diddle with my phone and go to sjs cycles. Its too often the same response here acting busy but being free enough to sell me something why did I come in today
