Barton Bicycles

Got recommended here by two separate friends. Been using other random bike shops in Cambridge for past 4 years, and haven't had very nice experience in most of those. But here at Barton service was great, gentlemen were really friendly nice and patient. Intended to repair my bike tyre, but decided to trade it in for a better one at a reasonable price. New bike feels comfortable and great.

I bought a cheap, second-hand road bike here. Barton Bicycles had by far the best options for my (low) budget and desire for something fast. An old frame with either new or newish parts. Staff we're really helpful and polite.

The 6-month warranty means the few breakdowns I've had (it was an old bike after all) have always been free and my bike's been fixed within a day on both occasions. They even offered me a replacement bike and lock when I wasn't able to collect on the same day.

Absolutely brilliant bike shop. The staff are really helpful as well as honest. I knew almost nothing about maintenance of a bike I bought from them and they took the time to explain everything to me. Wonderful staff and I will return whenever I need anything else cycle related

A great bike shop and very friendly staff. They provided two great bikes for us to use for the London to Cambridge charity bike race and were very helpful - lending us puncture repair kits etc just in case. I would highly recommend this shop!

A wonderful bike shop. I bought a front basket for my bicycle here and had it fitted on the same day. Very good attention to detail (remounting my front light etc.). Glen has also done smaller repairs and adjustments for me. Reasonably priced, quick & kind service, and COVID precautions taken (doors open, masks worn, bikes sanitised, one customer in the shop at a time). My favourite bike shop in Cambridge!

Purchased a new bike for my wife to replace her very old one, Glen was able to provide it ready to ride within two days of placing the order. Excellent service and the after sales promises to be likewise. Keep away from all those “online specials” and support the independent shops and get much better value for money as we did with Glen at Barton Cycles.

We rented two bicycles for a weekend ride in the area. The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate our needs. I think it was a bit more expensive than other shops, but it was totally worth it due to the quality of the bicycle and attention to our needs. They even included a pump, helmets, locks, and lights. Thank you!

Took my bicycle in for a puncture repair and service. Glen was able to do it that day. He was very knowledgeable and offered advice on tyres without any hard sell. Definitely my bicycle shop of choice and there are many in Cambridge!
