Cyclopolis - Bicycle Shop and Workshop

Couldn’t praise the store more. I had my bike serviced here last weekend and, at the same time, my partner selected and picked up her new bike. For both my partner and I, the guy working in the store (sorry, didn’t ask his name!) was amazingly friendly, honest with his opinion and neither of us ever felt like we were being given the hard sell. No, it’s likely not the cheapest place to get work done, but my bike feels like new now and it’s always worth paying slightly more to feel like the business actually cares about what they do. Brilliant!

Extremely helpful, informative & approachable.

Stock is great too, particularly accessories & high end parts but the professionalism and knowledge these guys have is great. Happily reamed my seat tube on the spot when other bike shops didn't even want to go near it.

Fantastic service, after being involved in a cycling accident the shop was quick to help me with an assessment to the damage. Provide a quote for me to use against my insurance offered different approaches to rectify the situation. From a new bike, to helping me build a different bike using the undamaged parts. Would highly recommend this bike shop for your cycling needs!

The man in the shop is so helpful. When my rear wheel was stolen, several shops in the area were quoting £100 more than this guy with a one month wait. Here, he sorted it for much less, within 30 minutes, to a great standard. Flatmate recently had a similarly helpful experience. Will be coming here for all my biking needs from now on. Thanks!

The guy at this shop is a con-man that tries to take advantage of customers trust in his expertise. I tried to show him the issue with my bike but he insisted he could see the issue just by looking at the bike - and that I just needed to replace old parts (3 different parts for a total of £85!).

I went for a second opinion over the road at Psubliminal, where they had a proper look and fixed the part that needed fixing there and then, my bike now works, and it cost me nowhere near the £85 quoted here.

Have a read through the positive reviews, they're written in a similar style. Don't let this crook take your money.

Took my bike in for a service, the communication on what needed to be done was great, the turn around was quick and the price was fair. Would 100% recommend!

Great bike shop and service/repair. Today they gave me a cost free tip about tyre protectors - for the same Dawes town bike that they refurbished a few years ago and it has been like a new bike ever since.
