I've been going to this bike shop for 16 years. The guys know their stuff and they always do a good job at a reasonable price. Sometimes they also include something extra that the bike needs (a missing handlebar end plug or a dab of paint on a frame scratch) at no extra charge. The service is much more personal than you'd get at one of the bigger stores (Halfords/Decathlon etc) and we need to support good local businesses like this when we can.

Booked bike in Monday, had a call Tuesday and collected it only £13 to fix a buckled wheel. Needed another part out of stock and was told how long to wait as bikes and parts are of a premium.

I’d had a clunking noise and Decathlon told me to buy new peddles and this place stripped down and diagnosed.

I’d totally recommend this place, friendly, helpful, polite and not expensive at all.

Thank you, I was a new customer and now a customer for life.

Very very good bike shop here. The bloke who works there is very honest and very knowledgeable as well. I've always gone Halfords for my biking needs etc but this place is so much better, and cheaper.

Guys this shop is the best in the area. I had a problem with my bicycle, I went to Decathlon and they said they cannot fix it because they were so lazy. Then I went to Halfords and guess what?? They said 2 months and probably wouldn’t be able to fix it. Same thing happened when I went to speak with Evans bicycle. I was desperate and didn’t know where to start from. Fortunately I found this place in Google maps and Colin who owns the shop was so helpful and he never said that he couldn’t do anything. I left my bicycle on Thursday and Friday my bicycle was already with me. I want to thank you mate for the great job you have done. Guys I want to tell you something- Halfords is useless… DO NOT GO THERE, instead you can call the owner of the repair shop and ask if he’s available to take a look into your bicycle, 9 out of 10 he would say “Yes of course you’re very welcome to come”! I’m sharing this with you so you know If you have any problems, this is the place where you can solve them! 💪💪💪 Highly recommended!

I did go to the shop a few months ago for replacing a chain. They did a very good job and quite quickly as well.

Second time coming here. I had a freewheel which needed to be changed. Everything happend so quickly and it was cheap. I would love to come here again.

They have helped me couple of times. I also have been couple of other cycle repair shops in last few months. Thurrock Cycle Centre is simply the best. Excellent customer services. They love their job. Highly recommended.
