Having been a customer of Paul Hewitt Cycles for many years, and have purchased many bikes here, I cannot recommend highly enough. Paul is a professional, and a perfectionist. Nothing is too much trouble. I have just picked up a new bike, the first time I rode it, I did 80 hilly miles in comfort, no tinkering required as the bike was set up to my specifications perfectly. Everything, from initial measure up, to ordering, was a pleasure. Then when the bike was ready, you can see the patience and attention to detail which has gone into the assembly. Everything perfect. Many thanks Paul and team for another superb bike.

I had my pedal crank break on me Wednesday afternoon, brought it into the store - Paul was excellent, quickly attending to me and giving me a very competitive quote with the work to be completed on Friday. When I went to collect, he was very open to looking at a few other small issues, like my wheels need to be trued, replacement brake cable and new seat post. All work completed right there and then, nothing was too much trouble. I will be returning for all my future maintenance and upgrades. Superb service, friendly staff and keen prices. Love it!

Just had a bike fit with Paul at Hewitt cycles and just wanted to say a big thanks. Couldn’t believe how much detail he went into to set my bike up. If anyone is generally wanting to ride there bike more comfortably and having it fit to them this is the man for the job. He also sorted a mechanical problem I had and got me up and running in no time. Fantastic service thanks again Paul 👍

Paul Hewitt and the team really came through for me recently. I had a spoke break whilst we were cycling from Lands End to John o'Groats. Paul saw me at short notice, gave me as much time as it took, sorted my rear wheel out for a very reasonable price and even picked up a couple of issues I wasn't aware of! They are truly professional and specialists in the industry. Just wish they were closer to London!

After over 11,000 km, mainly in the mountains of Bulgaria and the Greek Peloponnese, our Volt e-bikes were more than ready for a major service and thorough check over, which they certainly got from Paul Hewitt. In addition to routine adjustments and lubrication, three worn brake rotors and two Schwalbe Marathon tyres were replaced, the electronically shifted hub gears were stripped and lubricated, and a tricky loose chain guard made secure. Between us we have been cycling for 131 years, and together over the last 30 years we have ridden traditional touring bikes that Paul built for us across the USA (twice), Australia (Perth to Brisbane via Broken Hill), a 4,600-mile tour of New Zealand, and the UK to Istanbul, as well as climbing most Alpine and Pyrenean cols. So we know a good bike shop when we use one, and Paul Hewitt in Leyland is simply the very best.

Nothing is too much trouble for Paul and his team. Incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and a fantastic Aladdin’s cave of a shop. Just brilliant.

Really good service and a wealth of knowledge from all of the team at Paul Hewitt Cycles, always on hand to advise and help. Recently took my bike in for a few repairs as I'd ridden it to death in the last few months and got it done for a better price than I thought it would be and with a really quick turnaround.

Paul is a great guy who was helpful when I dropped my bike off to be repaired. When I came to pick it up, the girl on the front desk was incredibly rude to me and unprofessional. It's a shame she seemed to ruin my experience here.
