Been here a few times as it just up from work. Had my bike rebuilt as the frame snapped for only £180, great value. Had regular services, always good and they degrease the bike. They've always let me know how long I have before you'll need new bits giving you the option if you want them replaced.
Chris who I've dealt with us always helpful and pleasant. I regularly recommend Cycle Lab to friends.
Surprised at all the negative reviews, they must be going to a different shop

did a good job on my bike but relatively unfriendly and sneering service. I spotted a problem that was there before I brought it in and wasn't fixed initially. when brought back one of the house techs got very defensive, I ended up needing to go to another shop to get it fixed.

maybe they should just stick to coffee, crepes and overpriced bike parts.

Pretty cold service which is surprising with so much competition on their doorstep. Did a fine job servicing my bike but would probably venture to one of the other 100s of bikes shops locally next time. Shame as the business model, look and location of the store is spot on. Owners, please can you just tell your staff to be more friendly? Or maybe they were the owners!!

I had to stop by here when my rear derailleur cable snapped on the way into work and needed a quick repair (the prospect of cycling home up the hill to Ally Pally in top gear didn't appeal to my ageing knees). Got a warm welcome from the mechanic and he had the bike straight on the stand. By the time I'd grabbed a cup of their excellent coffee a new cable had been fitted, despite the tricky internal cable routing on my bike. A bit of adjustment later and I was on my way. Even offered to readjust cable once bedded in if I was passing. Fast service, good prices, great coffee and nice people. Definitely recommended.

I stopped there as I needed an urgent work on my bike (change rear cassette and chain). I dropped the bike on the spot and the next day it was all perfectly done, with a smile. Very good service and super nice (thanks to Yannick, the mechanics). I haven't tried the juices etc.. but I'll definitely go back.

Cycle Lab And Juice Bar located on Pittfield Street, 20 meters from Old Street is a safe heaven for cyclists and healthy eaters. The shop floor is divided into three sections including a bike repair shop, a cafe with a cozy seating for eight to ten people, and a juice and food bar.

Chris, the owner of Cycle Lab And Juice Bar is truly passionate about cycling and is genuinely a member of the local community of shop owners. While Chris and his team working on the repair shop can seem cold when approached by clients, they just have a very direct style of communication that might not be of everyones liking. A few months ago I dropped my bike for a full service and while the job was spotless i was jokingly told off for not taking better care of the bike. It was sitting in my terrace for over a year so it was a fair observation.

The staff working at the juice and food bar are adorable and super friendly. On offer are smoothies, juices, vegan pots (made from Acai) sourced from a local producer, vegan chilli and bean soup and salads. The soups are filling, healthy and incredibly tasty. Their homemade vegan snickers bar is incredible - filling, full of flavour, moist and significantly healthier than the traditional industrially produced version. The crowd is a combination of cyclists, tourists and locals seeking healthier options to the pizza, noodle and chicken shops on Pittfield Street. Compared to other cafe style places in the area including Summer with Monika, the menu options are more limited however they fully embrace the vegan and vegetarian lifestyle. Price wise it is in line with the local area and it is better value than Pittfield Cafe across the street.

Popped in early morning to fix a flat tire. Repairman did it fairly quick even though there was a queue ahead of me. He also managed to dissemble my tire even though I had forgotten my security key. Such a doer! And reasonable price, was expecting more to be honest. Highly recommend!

Chilled out and friendly, with great juices. This is a lovely place. The people who work here are very welcoming and helpful. I popped-in to grab a quick juice to-go. But it just has a really nice vibe, so I stayed to do a few hours of freelance work. It’s a very comfortable place to relax, and the juices taste very fresh and are made with good quality organic ingredients.
