Over recent years, I have often used other bike repair services and none of them come anywhere close to the professional, friendly, knowledgeable, quality service of Summertown Cycles.
They are outstandingly good. I would highly recommend them.
Thank you so much Summertown Cycles.

They broke my bike while trying to fix a tag along onto it. Then they replaced it with a second hand bike which doesn't suit us, and then had an argument with me about paying to have the things on the previous bike installed on the second hand bike.
So some good in there at trying to rectify their mistake, after all they attempted to replace the bike, but unfortunately didn't ask whether it would be suitable, and attached the tag along to it before I had the chance to say I didn't want that bike (I would have bought a new one actually). Anyway they fitted as much of the old equipment (front seat, paniers, and tag along) to the new bike and then were surprised when I asked them to put a basket on it, as I had one on the previous bike (we use it alot on the school run). This is when things turned and begrudgingly the man in the shop fitted it, and then asked me to pay for it. When I contested the payment for something that I had previously had on my previous bike that had been fine until they'd tried to fit the tag along, I was met by a passive aggressive attitude that ruined all the good will I've built with this business over the last 2 decades. I left with a bike I didn't want (and actually the mechanical fit of the tag along was poor too) as it's too unstable with narrow handlebars. Because of the attitude of the staff I won't go back there, and would encourage others to look elsewhere. Shame as I like to support local businesses.
