Probably good if you’ve booked a service, but pop in and ask for help...don’t bother. I received a comment on a Saturday ‘we don’t do maintenance on a Saturday but could look between customers if you leave it’. I was the only person in the shop...Oh, I did sort the problem, it was a school boy error that would have taken a few seconds for someone more experienced to spot

Bought a bike from the shop having identified the bike I was looking for. Roylan's had it in stock and allowed a test ride in the road outside to ensure that I was certain about making the purchase. Friendly and helpful staff. Sourced a rack for me that perfectly suited the bike, as this was one of my must haves. Very happy with bike and service.

I’m not normally one for writing reviews but feel that Roylan cycles deserve one.
I’ve used them several times over the years and the staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. Their work is first class and prices are excellent. My battered old mountain bike always comes out of their workshop like new. Highly recommended.

Amazing help by email and then in person. Went from first inquiry to having bike in less than 24 hours. Really impressed.

Great service I phoned in the morning explained I needed a service and parts fixed, brought the bike in and a few hours later it was ready and was sparkling clean and it was like new! I will be using you guys again

I visited Roylan Cycles as I intended to purchase a bike via my companies cycle to work scheme.
The owner was very helpful showing me the various bikes available and I decided on the bike and extra's that I wanted and went home to submit the application online.
Meanwhile, impatient for my new bike, I kept an eye on the bike's availability on the website.
The day after my application came through I was dismayed to see that the bike was no longer in stock .
When I arrived at Roylan expecting to arrange for the same model to be re-ordered I was delighted to find that the owner had remembered our earlier meeting and, when he received an email notification regarding the cycle scheme application (as I specified the shop I intended to buy from), put the bike aside for me.
Above and beyond the customer service I would normally expect.

Me: I suppose there's no chance of booking in for a problem tomorrow? Roylan: No, but pop it in first thing and I'll have a look before the booked jobs come in. Result: fixed by 11am and very reasonably too. That's the 2nd time I've used them....can't speak too highly. Friendly and always helpful, even if there's nothing in it for them.....so everything a bike shop should be.

Called up and asked if they would bleed and refill rear breaking system. I was told that they only fit their own parts even though I had all the parts ready. Wouldn't suggest this bike shop, they aren't helpful.
