Extremely happy with my new bike. Great price and customer service was very pleasant. Could try out as many bikes as I wanted without a problem and did not feel pressured into any sales. There are many bikes to choose from and you are sure to be matched with one, as the owner will endeavor to find you one that will be suitable. Very happy I chose to go here rather than Halford's/Argos/Sport's Direct. A lot cheaper and better quality bikes! So, support independent, local business and grab yourself a bargain! I will be taking mine back if I need a service (£20) or repairs. :)

I´ve bought a second hand bike there three weeks ago and I am more than happy with the bike.

The owner was friendly, professional and considered my needs. Even if I had to wait a bit, I was more than happy because the owner takes his time for every customer. On top of that the price was reasonable.

Very friendly and knowledgeable owner. Had a minor issue with the chain of a bike I bought and the owner honoured the warranty despite me having forgotten my receipt at home and him not having sold me the bike personally (an assistant that was not there on my return sold it to me). Owner went out of his way to help me fix up several other minor issues with the bike. I can definitely recommend Outdoor Cycles if you are looking for a second hand bike or a handy bike mechanic.

What a great place! Got a great deal on a second-hand bike, which I bought as a present for someone and after riding it all day now quite want it for myself... (£95 for a hybrid which easily overtook several expensive racing bikes on the way home). The owner is super friendly and not at all condescending like some bike mechanics can be; I feel like I trust this place not to overcharge me or try to sell me parts I don't need. Very fast and pleasant customer service for very low prices. I shall be returning here whenever I need bike repairs in the future!

I've bought two bikes here, fr my son, both of which were in good condition and both of which I was very pleased with. I know others who have bought bikes here and have been very pleased with them. My son is heavily in to bikes and can tell when a bike is in good condition and when it isn't, he knows what are good components and what aren't and he has never had a problem with any of the bikes he's had from here. The owner is always willing to let you have a go, he points out any problems and repairs them before you buy them and he is willing to repair any problems you may have afterwards as well. A very good service in my view.

Avoid. Owner was quite demeaning and patronising. Rode the bike for the better part of 5 minutes before having to take it back as gears weren't changing and the rear wheel was wobbling, only to be told that my complaint was petty and frustrating.

On a positive you do get a 30 day warranty, and chances are you're going to need it. Other reviewers have noted similar experiences, would recommend reading them before approaching the shop.

I bought a bike from here a few years ago. At the time, I really didn't know much about bikes as it was my first one for many years. I selected a hybrid bike that was just into the shop so needed refurbishing. The owner said no problem, come back in a week's time and I will have put new tires on it, new brake pads, adjusted the brakes etc. When I returned it clearly didn't have new tires so I had to make him change these on the spot. I should have known at this point that he had not done any of the work. It became clear in the following weeks that he had not refurbished the brakes as promised.
Avoid if you lack good knowledge of bikes, he is more likely to fleece you than help you.

Bought a bike 3 years ago for a great price, no quibbles about trying the bike before buying it and sorted out a new tire as part of the negotiations. Old school polite and professional only posting now as I just happened to pass by and popped in to to say thanks
