Sorted out a mechanical problem on a road bike whilst we were in the area on holiday. Very impressed! New parts were fitted within 2 hours & back on the road. Seem like a friendly bunch & went the extra mile. Highly recommended!

Very knowledgable and help you make the right buying decisions without being patronising. Bike fitting service is excellent and nothing is too much bother. With it being a small shop the work is turned around quickly too. ( As they can't store an unlimited number of customers machines. )

Looking to hire some bikes whilst on holiday. Website wasn't terribly helpful, (but not all cyclists are into it) so went into the shop in person. The staff were equally unhelpful with a dose of abrupt rudeness thrown in. How this place is still in business is a mystery to me.

Unfortunately Mike's Bikes staff were untrained in the cycle to work scheme and told me I could get an additional bike (including a child's bike) through the voucher I attained from work. Having verbally confirmed this twice they then backtracked, leaving a four year old a week before her birthday very disappointed indeed.

Value wise they are poor. Range is very limited indeed. Most peoeple would be better off at Halford's. I understand however that they service stuff well, just do not trust what they tell you verbally.

Best place for buying bikes and accessories, and also for repairs and services. They're also part of the cycle to work scheme which is handy if you want to buy a bike for your commute.
