JB Boat Sales

Boat was adequate - though cramped for the number of people advertised for. Will not hire with them again due to an unreasonably high late fee (Arriving 13 minutes late back resulted in a £50 fee. In my opinion that is unreasonable). They were polite at least, and well rehearsed at explaining that the £50 fee was non-negotiable and entirely justifiable.

Had a superb family day out. Great family focused company offering excellent value and service. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely day out for my husbands birthday and hired a little boat from JB Boats. Never done it before on the broads but thoroughly enjoyed it. John and his lovely wife were so nice to our children and made them listen to the safety rules, then gave them all sweets and were lovely to talk to. Love to give a family business our money and this was no exception. Will definitely use again. Thanks John!

A great day out on the water. Nice man who showed us the ropes

My partner is dissabled but we're able to get to within 10 ft of our boat so that made his day as the nerves of getting bad just getting to the boat almost put him off. We were given a very thorough introduction to our boat and I was quite comfortable that I could actually drive it. We had a picnic boat,as we wanted to have a bit more room and a solid roof to slide over us should the weather turn,and we got a lovely little boat. It was plenty big enough for us 4,the kids loved it,and as it had a loo we were all happy!! It was also very clean and the whole Covid thing was covered very professionally. We were out from 10-4 covered only 10 miles,laughed endlessly,enjoyed watching the kids and made some wonderful memories. Thank you 😊

From start to finish JB Boats provided excellent customer service. I hired a Picnic Boat for my partners birthday, it was a lovely surprise for him. He thoroughly enjoyed steering us through the picturesque Norfolk Broads. The boat is well appointed with a loo (very important as we had 3 children with us), plenty of comfy seats and a sliding roof so we could enjoy the lovely weather. They gave us maps and suggested a route to suit our family. We took a picnic although there are pubs and cafes you can Moor alongside. Considering there were 5 of us the day out was great value for money and I would highly recommend hiring a boat from JB Boats and exploring the Norfolk Broads, an excellent day out!

A little gem not well advertised
Some might say an old fashioned approach but after seeing the “Benidorm” idiots on the broads, people being towed by rope behind the boat and with more alcohol onboard than fuel its was in hindsight refreshing to to have a professional and informative introduction and handover to the boat, not your usual “push the lever forward to go fast”.
Even under Covid restrictions the handover was second to none with strict social distancing which was nice to experience under current circumstances.
The boat was exceptionally clean but would have been nice to have had a small fridge to cater for a full day on the broads (sorry JB our only criticism !!) although we did understand the reason that no gas was available for the cooker due to Covid.
Well informed information pack onboard regarding the routes available and time guides to each destination so you could plan your trip according to your time allocation .
As you would expect from a family run business rather than a large corporate - a very personal approach and very welcoming
