Where do I even begin!

2 months before my wedding I found out the original dress I purchased (from a different shop) was ruined. I contacted Sam in a bit of a stress and that was honestly the best decision I made throughout the whole wedding planning process. Sam is literally an angel. She calmed me down and promised me she would get me down the aisle in a dress I loved, she went above and beyond to achieve this and I ended up loving my dress from her more than my original dress.

Her seamstress Wendy also deserves a shout out as she amended a dress so that it was 2 sizes smaller for me.

What a dream team! I will always be thankful to Sam and Wendy :-) thanks to them I felt like a woodland fairy at my wedding!

Also the shop is gorgeous and all the dresses are breathtaking with a great range of alternative designs and more traditional! I just wish I had gone to them in the first place!

I would recommend Heritage Brides to every bride. I have never felt sexier and happier trying on dresses. Sam was so patient with me and let me try on lots of dresses even though we all knew the first dress was the one. I made a reception dress that I planned on changing into during the break between the day and the evening reception however, in the end I had to be reminded to change into it late in the evening because I loved wearing my wedding dress so much. I could not have had a better experience.

Sam is an absolute super star! She made me feel so at ease and really took the time to get to know what I liked and what I felt comfortable in. I never felt pressured by her but at the same time, I could tell that she had a real desire to help me find my dress.
She's also gone above and beyond in terms of helping me after I bought my dress and ensuring that I'm 100% happy with how I look on the day.
Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Found my dress here! The first one I tried on, and selected by Sam after telling her just a couple of key words. Perfection!

Beautiful store and felt so supported during the whole process. Sam kept me informed at every stage, I felt safe in her hands. I would tell every bride to visit if they could!

I was so scared and nervous about finding a wedding dress and Sam put me immediately at ease. We found THE dress in about 3 tries and I honestly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding dress experience. Wendy who did my alterations is an absolute expert in her field and my dress fit like a dream. I can not recommend this place enough and thank you doesn’t really quite express how thankful I am for the whole experience.

We bought my dream wedding dress from Sam at Heritage Brides this year and the whole process was really enjoyable. Firstly, the shop is a truly beautiful place to buy a dress from (nestled in the grounds of Hatfield House) and it holds a wide selection of different styles of dresses and accessories so I felt I didn't need to look any further after my first visit.

Sam is great too. She was very helpful, honest and clear on what to expect and everything ran very smoothly from the start.

Absolutely brilliant experience buying my wedding dress here. There's an amazing selection of dresses and Sam is so helpful and kind with what can be a stressful process. She offers great advice and nothing is too much trouble. The shop is also beautiful, in a unique setting - it's all very relaxed. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

I came to Sam's beautiful shop in Autumn 2021 to find my wedding dress. I am someone who finds this kind of stuff easily overwhelming and I can be so indecisive, however Sam was so lovely and reassuring, it made me feel so much more comfortable. The other shops I went to all the dresses were so similar and blurred into one for me which made it very tricky to know what I really wanted. I wanted a dress that I felt 'me' in and the dresses that Sam stocks are wonderfully different from every other dress shop I went to. I enjoyed coming back to her lovely shop over the last year. It is absolutely stunning her shop, the vibe and decor is beautiful and I loved it!
I also got the veil from Sam and the alterations were done with her lovely recommended seamstress Wendy.
