Staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. All 3 meals were excellent and hot. And staff checked that everything was OK. And said any problems then to please let them know. And they would be happy to rectify it. But service, staff and food couldn't of been better.

Great food,great staff, lovely restaurant an great bar to eat your food aswell if you've got your dog with you . Or sit outside.very nice .

The Star has had a fresh make over with good furniture making it more accessible, fresh and light, very comfortable, new chef with a great menu, the food is amazing and reasonably priced, highly recommended this country village pub.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday dinner. The pork belly was cooked and served perfectly. Christian is a great chef and Emily is a fantistic host.Great service and atmosphere. Lovely place to eat and drink

1st time here. All I can say is wow! Absolutely lovely food great fast service. Friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

Visited last night for a bite to eat and a few beers. Had ham, egg, peas and chips. Absolutely delicious, the nicest ham ever. Was tempted to have dessert and had Emily's Brownie with salted caramel ice cream. That too was superb. A lovely pub with excellent real ale. Lovely pub, great atmosphere and always a friendly welcome.

Superb village pub serving excellent real ales and top quality food. Very well known for there steak nights. Highly recommended.
