Stopped by for a hot choc on a sunny but cold Sunday afternoon around 3. Busy! Not surprising given the weather but man, this place is popular. Took a while to get through the queue but the hot chocolate was unexpectedly outstanding. Lovely building, great view of the park, would go again.

Great little cafe situated in Avenham and Miller Park, sit inside or outside , amazing views around the park and of the river .

The pavilion was very spacious, warm and cozy. Also, the staffs were very friendly and kind. It’s definitely the right location to enjoy your lunch with a view.

This should be a pinnacle cafe in Preston, the setting is lovely but it is just about okay at best. The cafe itself on par with the offering at a jumble sale with 20p Nescafe coffee in polystyrene cups. Improvements have been made, they now take cards for example but the service is poor and quality very low. This just needs a dose of management experience injected into it and some direction. Currently it feels like an after thought to "what should we put in this nice building". If you want a brew and snack I'd strongly suggest you walk 100m to the donut coffee shop. Miles better. If you want proper food, head to the pub at the far end of the park.

Sadly no food other than cakes etc. I had a delicious white chocolate slice. Bit greasy but very indulgent.

Need to update your opening times. Arrived on Friday 20th Jan at 15:55 and was met with a closed sign dangling from the door, even though the hours on Google read open until 17:00 hrs.

Staff friendly, place clean. Wasn't any food being served due to staff shortage but really the two that were in where stood chatting to each other for most of the time we were there.

Only been here for a coffee. Coffee is fine but getting them takes forever.
