Great for motorhomes lovely walk down through pittville Park into Cheltenham with loads of pubs and restaurants, 10 minute walk to the preservation railway station at the top of the racecourse, there's a walk around the outer perimeter of the course with beautiful views over the Cleeve hills, there's a pub in the next village (I think it's Prestbury) called the Royal Oak good food and ale, on a nice evening it's nice to sit outside in the rear garden. The facilities onsite are good levelling chocks are useful on some pitches. 100mts from the site are a couple of bus stops for the park and ride.

WOW. I absolutely lived this beautiful clean, friendly site and the views down the racetrack are spectacular. A 2.5 mile walk around the racecourse is great for dogs. Would stay here again

always use this site as a stopover on way to south west!! fantastic views from top of site very friendly staff and a park and ride a short walk away that takes you into Cheltenham!! Easy to find just follow signs for racecourse!!

Great place to stay in the middle of the race course, not easy to find though...just go for the racing course.

I always enjoy visiting this campsite. Very friendly and helpful staff. The views over the Racecourse towards the hills are beautiful.
The toilet block has been upgraded since we were last here, 2 or 3 years ago.
There is a very useful park and ride bus outside the Racecourse which takes you into Cheltenham city centre. You can use your bus pass on it after 9.30 am.

This is a great site with stunning views and great facilities. There is a ring a ride station next doors and a steam railway that runs from Cheltenham to Broadway. During the day we walked through Prestbury park into town which takes approximately 30 minutes very slow walk enjoying all of the distractions along the way. Evenings where spent enjoying a beer and a BBQ watching paragliders soar through the sky off distant hills - Very relaxing

Really nice and helpful staff at the reception, toilet and showers are exceptional. Some pitches aren't very level but some do have outstanding views across the racecourse and Cleeve Hill. A great little spot for a one or two night stopover

Great location. Grass pitches are excellent. Lovely views of the course. 20 min walk into the town centre, which has great bars and shops. The walking from thd site is good and you can access several open fields and footpaths without going onto the roads. Really impressed. Loads to fo in the local vicinity. Also a park and ride at the entrance to the site. Hired a car from the town centre which is easy to get to.
