Grouse Hill Caravan Park

Just back from our Easter Weekend at Grouse Hill. Absolutely loved every minute of it ! We stayed in a Big Chief Wigwam with running water. Plenty of room for us all. Spotlessly clean and so very very cosy and warm ! A couple of issues whilst we were there but one was resolved immediately with a new kettle as the old one kept blowing the electrics. The other was no TV but that could not be helped and we was made aware of it prior to booking. Facilities were spotlessly clean each and every morning when I showered. Great little pub at the site entrance. We shall be returning but hopefully next time in our caravan !

We have been going there for over 20 yrs now, our family love it, moorland next door, the peace and tranquility are sublime...Whitby about 9 or so miles away, Robin Hoods Bay about 4 or 5 miles away and Scarborough about 10 miles. There is no live entertainment or a bar on site which simply adds to its splendour, there is a large play area with plenty of equipment for children up to 14 to enjoy as well as a good size football pitch too, the walks are amazing, it would be a shame to forget your walking boots during your stay here, a steady walk for the novice and more intense walks through moorland are a must. There is an adults only area for caravans if you want even more peace and quiet but personally I don't think this is required as all our stays have been serene. The site is maintained to a very high standard with any issues rectified rapidly.There are several shower blocks with family suites too all free to use. We have stayed at several sites during our caravanning years but it's obvious why we now site at this one...

A fantastic campsite, owners lovely and helpful.. facilities spotlessly clean, convenient little shop.. easy access to whitby, Scarborough, only 40 minutes to flamingo land.. Great value for money.. for those not wanting to camp also have some lovely wooden cabins to rent..

Stayed in the running water wigwam, oh there wonderful! Comes with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Stunning location absolutely fantastic views. They are shower blocks which are wonderful and clean, its brilliantly equipment here for camping, caravaning and of course the wigwams! Definitely recommend, and will absolutely be back!

Great campsite, owner's are welcoming and friendly. Site is clean and well kept, facilities are great, cleaned thoroughly throughout the day. We will definitely return for another camping holiday here.

We really enjoyed our stay, we stayed in a glamping pod which was clean and cosy. Caroline and the staff were super friendly and helpful. A great site 15 minutes from the glorious Whitby coastline.

Stayed in Wigwam no grass area in front as people parked everywhere and states TV antenna not working upon booking I asked it we could use TV for streaming and was told we could. NO REMOTE AND TV WOULDN'T even SWITCH ON (broken) this was our second stay and the wigwams getting run down and need TLC

Beautiful place... lovely owners..we are always pleased when the site opens again, hopefully with the sun ☀️ shining 🌟
