I'm very late reviewing this fantastic site but it deserves the praise so...

My friend and I stayed here in early October 2015 (on a Groupon Deal) and we do mean to return. We were lucky as it was relatively mild for the time of year when we visited and we were able to leave the yurt door open to enjoy the sounds of the stream and the birds right outside the door. Being right by the water and in total privacy was so soul enriching. No phone reception was a bonus. (Though when my phone died soon after we arrived, I had no camera, so will bring an actual CAMERA next time). 😊 The lady who met us and guided us to the site was so warm and friendly and the Yurt was clean, warm and cosy. We just couldn't fault this place. Highly recommended.

Eco Retreats is simply stunning. The journey into the forests instantly separates you from the hectic part off life. Excellent communication on booking and prior to our arrival. We were very warmly welcomed by Margaret and shown to our accommodation. The yurt was well stocked, warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. The outside bath was fabulous. The stillness and calm cannot fail to detox you and make you feel alive again. The walks into the hills are fabulous especially for twitchers. We've stayed twice in the last couple of months. Angus Margaret and Ash make the running of this place look seamless. Thank you for this wonderful place.

Fantastic place visited twice now. A must do to get away from it all. Meadow Yurt was really spacious and comfortable and the new owners were really attentive and helpful. A great stay and we will definitely be back in the future.

This is the kind of place you don't want to share with others...it's definitely one of a kind! We stayed in one of five stunning yurts over 50 acres of land, deep in the Dyfi Forest. After the turning off an A road, the Sat Nav goes blank. 4 miles in, you finally reach the remote sheep farm, a little slice of heaven . Our yurt, Ash Valley, has incredible views overlooking the forest. Despite the rainy weather, we had outdoor baths every night. It is an eco retreat so there is no electricity. The toilets are composted and running water is filtered via a mountain spring.

Living off grid for only 3 nights, we left recharged and refreshed and cant wait to visit again.

This is certainly a "retreat" you're encompassed by stunning nature and warm and comfortable because you have everything you need. No electric and no signal means you can separate yourselves from everyday life and relish the time you have there. A fantastic experience would definitely recommend. Thank you to our friends for their idea and to Eco Retreats for thinking of everything!!
