Liked: Having booked to stay in one of the pods, on what turned out to be a couple of the stormiest nights of the year, we were a little nervous arriving! We needn’t have been worried though, the helpful & friendly owners have made sure the pods are equipped with everything you need to make your stay safe, comfortable & cosy. The kitchen facilities were great, the shower beautiful & hot & the location perfect for a 7 year old who wants to run around all day & meet the animals on the farm. The fact we were allowed to bring our dogs along, made it the perfect stay, despite the weather!
Disliked: Leaving after just 2 nights - can’t wait to book our next trip!

Liked: Great location, super helpful and friendly owners, the glamping pod was clean and tidy, with all necessary bedding, towels, etc, supplied.
Supplying wood for the burner, marshmallows and Easter eggs for the girls was a really nice touch and very much appreciated.
The girls loved exploring the farm and meeting the animals on site too.
Excellent venue for visiting nearby attractions - close to Matlock, Gullivers Kingdom, etc, etc.
Disliked: The pods themselves aren't really practical for sleeping 2 adults and 2 school-aged children (ours are aged 12 and 9) - the bed facilities for the kids simply aren't big enough. It was fine for a couple of nights, but for a longer stay I think we'd have struggled.
That said, I think the pods are perfect for couples or perhaps families with much younger children.

Liked: Everything, a great location. It was quiet, secluded, it had fantastic views and was so peaceful. My children loved it and really enjoyed sleeping in the pod and seeing the animals, plus the owners left them some chocolate eggs! It was really close to Matlock and chesterfield which gave us lots options of things to do. We really enjoyed the fire pit and toasting the marshmallows (which the owners put in the pod). Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Liked: The pod had everything we needed, fully functional kitchen area with utensils. We loved that when we arrived we had some wood and some marshmallows to use on the fire, this was perfect. The farm was perfectly quiet. The pod was very clean and perfect for just the two of us. We can’t wait to go back!

Liked: It was clean and tidy. The owner was very helpful the whole time, answering quickly to my emails and so on. The marshmallows, bbq and fire pit were a great addition. We didn't get to use it as we arrived a bit late and rained the next day, but the people on the pod near us had a great time for sure. Seeing cows, chickens, donkeys and horses was the highlight of the stay for my kids.
Disliked: It's not really for 4 people, but more like 2 adults and 2 under 8 years old maybe. My children didn't fit the sofa/bed platform and the sleep mat was also quite small. It did feel like camping for them, which is nice, and they didn't complain about it.

We stayed in August - our family booked all 4 pods - 7 adults , 3 children & 5 dogs 🐾 & we had a truly wonderful break! Well equipped Pods - everything you need & thoughtful extras like marshmallows, welcome tea / coffee . The owners Trevor , Sandra & family were absolutely delightful & couldn’t have done enough for us showing us around their amazing farm ! We all enjoyed it so much we have booked twice already for next year! Highly recommend to everyone! Thank you 😊!

Liked: Had everything we needed and a lovely setting. Lovely and clean and cosey, owner was responsive to emails. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon.
Disliked: Only a couple of suggestions - It would be beneficial to have split windows so that you’re able to open the window in the bathroom to let steam out when showering, without letting the cold into the rest of the pod. Also being able to shut the bathroom door from the main pod would be good - the latch doesn’t do anything and it doesn’t stay shut, also letting all the steam into the main pod. Only a very minor thing though and didn’t detract from our stay. I appreciate we stayed in November - I’m sure having windows open in summer isn’t a problem!
