My friends and I have stayed in this campsite twice now and plan to return next year. It is such a cool spot that provides everything you need from outdoor space with views over the valley, toilets, a fire pit with seats in the wooded area, running water to wash dishes and a hot shower. The campsite is private so you have it completely to yourselves for a fantastic price. The owners are also a pleasure to deal with. We cannot wait to come back next year and would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Bisley Campsite was absolutely fantastic and I would wholeheartedly recommend. I stayed with a gaggle of toddlers who loved the cows in the field opposite and the space to run around. It was great to have the whole place to ourselves (5 couples, 5 toddlers and an 11 yo) so when they slept we could take advantage of the covered campfire and BBQ area but still be close enough to hear them (but not speak in hushed voices). There are compost loos and a warm shower. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with and even helped us with bags down the slope from where we parked the cars. They brought more fire wood the second night. It was just great and I'll definitely be back. We had our own mini festival!

The most excellent spot for a family get-together!

A lovely quiet site, surrounded by trees. The composting toilet was far more pleasant than expected (smelled like a clean rabbit hutch! Much better than festival toilets!) The warm outdoor shower was a lovely experience. Fire pit and covered eating area gave us the space to spend quality time together in comfort. Excellent stargazing spot (we saw the Milky Way!)

Some lovely woodland walks nearby (e.g. Toadsmoor Woods), which you can get to without having to get in the car. The village local, The Stirrup Cup, also came highly recommended by the owners and did not disappoint.

Holly was lovely to deal with - very happy to field any and all questions before and during our stay. Also very good with all the payment and deposit side of things.

Would definitely visit again, and recommend to anyone wanting a lovely rural retreat.
