I asked Halfords staff to change my cam belt. Customer service was very good . they were very helpful and approachable and also helped me with other things the car needed that I hadn't asked for when i first call. Dan and his team are really professional and go that extra mile to help. I got a good time slot to drop the car and was called later in the day when the work was finished.

This is my second year using Halfords and they provide a good service. So far, so good. Hope their service gets even better. After MOT and servicing which was done whitin a day, my car ran much smoother. Thank you.

I took my Corsa in for an MOT and was very impressed with the level of service. I had the car there for 830am and by 9.30am it had been done.

whilst the job was done, I believe competently, the issue I had was with the timing.
I was booked for 08:30am, and arrived as requested 15 mins early
for the M.O.T and was told I'd be informed once the service was complete. The first call I got was about 14:30 to tell me about the advisories, and then about an hour later with ref another matter, I asked if I should come along to pick the car up but was told again they'd call when it was ready. I didn't hear any more so went about 16:00 and was told it would be another half an hour.
So basically, it took from 08:15 until 16:20 to do an M.O.T and full service, surely too long? Having worked in a garage I know an M.O.T takes 40/45 mins, so why so long on the service?

I booked my car in a week before the date of repair due to work. I received email confirmation of the booking. I then received a phone call the day before saying if I wished to bring my car in early I could do so as they were ahead of time. I did this allowing them time to look over my car and to phone me with the suggested issues. I agreed with what was required to be carried out on my car. I then was able to pay and collect it later after work the day I originally had booked my car in. Great work and polite at all times.

Went in for a free MOT as I'd purchased something from the main store and got a voucher. Despite me not paying them a penny (free MOT and no advisories!), they couldn't have been nicer, even giving me a head's up that a local road was closed and to go the other way.

Good customer service and looking out for people doesn't cost a penny and these guys nailed it. Will be coming back next year as you don't get this level of service from main dealers and smaller independant garages looking to make a few quid out of your obliviousness.

Easy to book and clear about what's included in the service price (also booked an MOT).

The car needed some work and replacement parts - I was called within few hours and informed what is needed, along with price quotes, so I could make a decision. The work was then carried out straight away and the car was ready for pickup in the afternoon.

Sleek and good, stress free service. Will be returning for next service / MOT in the future!
