I can't praise them enough. I took my car in for a suspected wheel bearing replacement. They found that it was not the wheel bearing but something else which they managed to repair on the same day. I also had a free drop off and pick up from work. They gave me the cheapest quote of 3 others I tried and that was before a 10% NHS Discount on labour.

This garage has won my business from now on for being friendly, professional and honest.

Had a strange issue with my Nissan Note that foxed 2 AA guys on callouts. It did take 2 trips to the New Garage but they were very good loaning me a courtesy vehicle whilst they resolved it.

Outstanding customer service at New Garage, friendly, honest and professional!
Managed to get my car through it’s MOT and provided me with a courtesy car whilst it was being sorted.
Thank you New Garage!

Went here for an issue with my DPF. They found the fault and explained what it was and how to avoid it in the future. They weren't pushy with trying to sell me a fix which for me is a HUGE plus. So much so I have my car booked in for its MOT and service soon and will continue to use them going forward.

I recently took my car in with a variety of issues including a failed starter motor and a broken rear passenger side suspension coil spring. After the initial diagnostic work, I received a call confirming my suspicion that the coil spring was broken, but also advising me that driver side coil spring was corroded in the same place the passenger side spring had broken and would also need replacing. This information was alarming to me as I had paid to have a new coil spring fitted on the driver’s side at a different garage when it had broken just a few weeks previously; to my mind, either the original garage had lied about fitting a new spring, or New Garage were attempting to charge me for work that did not need doing. I explained that I understood coil springs are usually replaced in pairs but that the driver side spring should be brand new and I did not want to replace it if that was the case. I asked the receptionist with this in mind to explain to the technician that the spring should be new and please to double check if he was sure this needed doing. I received a call back confirming that the receptionist had discussed this again with the technician and that the supposed new spring was definitely not new and needed replacing. At this point I agreed to proceed with work but asked them to take some photos of both springs in situ so that I could take this back to the original garage as evidence. I later received a call from Elaine who advised me that I was correct and that the driver side spring did not need replacing. When I came to collect the car I asked Elaine for some explanation and was told that there must have been a communication issue between the original receptionist and the technician. I explained that I had asked him to go back to the technician and double check because I was sure the spring should be new and then she offered that the original technician only had 6 years of experience and when a more experienced technician looked at it they advised that the work was not needed. Elaine was very friendly but I was not left satisfied with either explanation. The most forgiving explanation is that the first technician was not competent and gave bad advice; a more cynical explanation would be that they were not being honest about what needed to be done.

Fitted us in at short notice despite being booked up and short on staff due to holidays. We we kept constantly updated as to the progress. The problem was investigated, diagnosed and fixed swiftly and at a very reasonable cost considering the quality of the service.

Will be recommending to my family and friends who live in Salisbury.
