Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Slough

The worst car hire experience I've had in the UK.

Terrible (non existent) communication. I was told I would have the car delivered between 8-12. At 12 I had to ring them to be told it'd be between 1-4pm and I would be told of any delays. At 4pm I had to ring again to be told it would be 6pm. At 6pm I rang AGAIN to be told it would be 6:20pm... still zero communication until 6:45pm when it is finally delivered.
I waited in all day for this car and had to constantly chase for updates which were incorrect and they were not apologetic in the slightest.
Absolutely awful customer service.

When the car finally arrived the person was nice enough, but they gave me a PHEV with an empty battery and missing it's charging cable and an empty tank of fuel. Very disappointing.

Finally I left a message when the car didn't turn up at 6:20pm, asking for a call back the next day to lodge a complaint ... surprise surprise, never got the call back.

Edit: on getting in the car a second time, I was greeted by the check oil light and also low true pressure, as one wheel had a slow puncture. Rubbish!

I rented a people carrier for our family trip to Europe. I got excellent service. Adnan was very helpful and explained every thing to me.
Very happy and satisfied. Definitely will use them again.

I rented van for moving house from slough branch. Collection and return of the van from Slough branch was very easy and stress free. Staff was very friendly and professional. All rental process and other terms well explained during the collection of the van. Even they extended van rental for one extra day on my very short notice.

I have already put in this review - but would like to let you know that I received a response from the team 1 hour after posting. I was informed they’ll be happy to help and I responded back to Laura. It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard anything back. Another false promise!!! When are you going to deal with the money owed back to me?

Enterprise Bath Road Slough appalling service. I had a courtesy car provided through my insurance following on from an accident that I was not at fault. Enterprise have charged me £520 and deducted this from my account when the rental was returned! Although my insurance were paying for the hire. I have sent emails and called numerous times to be told they will recover the money back from my insurers and refund me back it’s been over 5 weeks and my bank is still down £520. Do not hire from them if your insurance says to use them as a courtesy provider. When they take your card details at the beginning of the hire they hold these and then take unauthorised money from your account before liaising with the insurance company. I was told when I return the car they would ask them (insurers)for the remainder balance but instead took my money!!! They have no care and poor customer service as they do not even respond or call back when promised. Absolutely disgusting. I’m still fighting to have my money returned to me. Again DO NOT USE. Refuse when your insurance gives you them as a recommended hire company.

These guys are great because they go the extra mile, Adam well spoken guy cheerful and uplifting to the company. Also adnan and gorge. If I get a rental I promise it will be with these guys and this branch.

The team at Enterprise bath road were fantastic, friendly and welcoming. They assisted with every query and difficulty i brought to them to the highest standard. Special thanks to Adnan and a few of the other chaps on the front desk including the new inter lad great service. I would highly recommend this branch.

I am beyond impressed with Enterprise. It took quite a while to get my car taken away, but I had regular calls rom Enterprise checking up on whether and when I needed a courtesy car. When I eventually needed a car, the service was outstanding. Laura was welcoming, informative and patient with my various issues with a payment card pin! Laura was able to answer my many questions about the car and the process, with patience and understanding. It's rare to find such great service. I would highly recommend Enterprise Slough and Laura!
