This is what renting a car at Heathrow Enterprise looks like during a National Rail Strike… Still got my car in about 30-45 minutes. Big Shout out to Farhad for hooking us up and remaining calm in the face of pandemonium.

I booked this car through National before our trip to the Uk, I did not compare price with other companies, big mistake, should have made some comparisons, shuttle from terminal 3 no problem, I went with Enterprise because we wanted an auto ( so wife could drive also) the young agents tried to get me to take a stick shift which they had ready, had to wait about 1 hr for an auto. They tried to charge for 2 drivers which was on the original contract, when I refused they waived the fee. I was going to use my comprehensive insurance offered by my credit card providing I used that card to pay for the rental. I decided to take out their overage as every eventuality was covered with their insurance, Tabb kept telling us, I could see a hassle if something happened. It did , passenger side wheels got road rash and possibly the tyres have to be replaced. there was no hassle when I returned the car. At a total of 1965.73UKp my friends in the Uk told me I got screwed, I think there are several charges that are not required and I was not aware of at the time of picking up the car, 1. fuel service option 106.8 UKp 2. if you have AAA coverage in US you do not need Road Side assistance 108.8 UKp
3. Premium Location Fee 255.22Ukp, whats that all about? An extra 200.UKp is added at the start an refunded on return, I was never informed of this. The bottom line is compare companies and dissect the Rental Agreement before picking up the car.

Its been a month since I sent Chad the details he asked for, no reply as yet.
I am adding this follow up for two reasons,
1 Google has informed me my review has been viewed by over 1000 people, so make your own decisions regarding this Heathrow car rental company.
2 I have been describing my experience with Enterprise with a friend who is customer service , she was very surprised, she told me that Enterprise are very aware of interaction with customers and make it a high priority to make sure everybody is satisfied, obviously not the Heathrow Airport branch.
Reading the 1 & 2 star reviews a trend has emerged, the customer service agents, John, Laura, Chris R, HH, SR, Lisa s, Ed, KB, stacy, Ebony, to name a few just go through the motions of asking for more details, then never follow up when they have said details.
I hope bad service and rip off mentality is only confined to the Heathrow outlet

This was a great car hire experience- I’ve been renting cars from various companies at Heathrow for years and this was a pleasant surprise. 2 of us with bicycles in boxes and bags waited at the Enterprise bus stop at T5 wondering if we would get in- the driver was so polite and helpful and lifted all the stuff into the van. We were met by Ben at the office who understood our need to have a car which would carry the large bike boxes- he took an interest in our recent 3 month cycling trip- we were introduced to Niki who again was very helpful, polite and engaging- and found the right vehicle and helped us load the bikes. Nothing was too much trouble for her- thanks again. I’ll book with Enterprise Heathrow next time.

I rented car from Birmingham to London Heathrow for 4 days.. Excellent experience so far. I got free upgrade to SUV although I had gone with a basic model. On my way to Heathrow now.. Hopefully the experience will remain pleasant even with return process

Part 2

Drop off was quick and pleasant as well. Google map took me to precise location. It took less than 5 minutes to complete drop off process. And then a free ride to Heathrow terminal.

Look forward to the next trip to the UK. Will surely hire car again.

Rented a car for a day, true to the Enterprise brand this location didn't disappoint. The staff got us in and it quickly and made sure we didn't have any questions. The shuttle to and from Heathrow was quick

Amazing staff and team here. Very accommodating especially short notice. It's a very close trip to the airport and offer shuttle services to assist with luggage and other means. I worked with Will and his team so tell them cheers if you see them. Additionally, it's a perfect spot to fill up for gas if you choose that option as most places currently will have no gas.

Probably the best car rental location I've ever dealt with in the world. These guys are consistently excellent. Normally I would book a car with whichever company is cheapest, but for Heathrow, I'll stick with Enterprise from now on. Pickup at the terminal is fast and efficient - shuttles run every 5 minutes. And they run direct from your terminal to Enterprise - they do not wind around between the different terminals. Shuttle drivers are helpful and friendly. The staff that perform the check-out are equally friendly and efficient. And finally the drop off is lightening-fast, and it happens 4 steps away from the shuttle back to the airport. They run the show like a well-oiled machine. Thanks!

I’ve used rental cars for many years with zero issues until this week when I rented a car for 12 hours from Enterprise London Heathrow.

I picked up the car at 0700 and it was dark. The car was parked in a dark car park and the flood lights were not operative. The car looked ok, no dents so I accepted the condition and drove to my destination. I did around 120 miles 95% on the M25. I returned the car at 7pm and this time the return bay was floodlit very well. The staff noticed a small chip in the tyre. I explained that I only drove on the motorway and had not been anywhere near a curb or pothole. Obviously they don’t value customer service since I won’t be returning as they have charged my credit card over £120 for this damage which was not caused by myself. They didn’t even bother to contact me to let me know of this charge. It feels criminal to be charged like this for damage not caused by myself. If I had have cause the damage then fair enough but this was 100% not the case.

I was told the tyre needs replacement as it’s a safety issue. So I should be the concerned party in this since they have supplied me with a car that was not safe.

DO NOT use this company. They might try to rip you off too. I will contest the charge and go to court if need be. Could it be that this company deliberately not switch on the floodlights in the pickup area? And fit a tyre with a small chip in the sidewall that you cannot see on pickup but their staff easily find it on drop off under the floodlights. Magic! It’s an easy £120 to make. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
