Awful company. They won’t tell you when you cancel your car that you will be charged 45 cancellation. They told me by email that they admit that I wasn’t told when I cancelled it but yet they still refuse to cancel the charge. Will never use them again and highly do not recommend them. Also the agents will tell you that you have rang the wrong department and give you the number you have just rang and to call back and press the same options.

Booked and paid for 6 days car hire for Scotland holiday at Central Reservations. Ten minutes later local branch called to say that they couldn't fulfill the car hire "as they didn't have any car available". And it would take (up to) 10 days to refund money. Disgusting service.
Went 200 yards down road, car booked, pay on collection! Certainly won't be using Europcar again!

My partner booked a van and paid in full and the company allowed the whole booking and payment to go through to then receive an email the next day saying that there was no availability for the date requested. Why allow the booking to go through in the first place? On ringing the number provided to see if there was an alternative van he was greeted with the most snottiest woman who clearly has had no customer service training whatsoever, he couldn't get a word in only just about got chance to ask for a refund before she hung up. Utterly disgusting if you ask me and as a company they should be ashamed of themselves.

Excellent service and car perfect for our needs at very short notice. We were also able to extend when unexpectedly required with no hassle. The gentleman in the Chester Office was fantastic. Many thanks.

Very helpful (Chris). I am a Motability customer and don't expect the world on a plate, am patient and polite - which is clearly the minority as they really do help those who help them by being understanding. Excellent communication and service. Thanks Chris at Chester. John McShane.

My partner booked twice for a van, once online and one via phone after the first got cancelled. Both got cancelled, due to Chester having no vans. When asked why are you taking bookings then? Attitude was head office aren't updating there system....we have no vans so no option to cancel. Please sort your system out, and communications between you and HO, as this is messing people about, and very annoying that your quick to take the money but can take 10 day to put it back 😡 avoid

Don’t rent a car from Europcar, it was a hassle from start to finish. Vehicle was a heap, sounded like a diesel, it was petrol, seats were stained, stunk of cigarettes, outside was so badly dinged up, they didn’t even bother to do a walk round.

I was giving a vehicle with half a tank of fuel and they expect a full tank and withdraw money out of your account without information why thanks welcome ro the fraud team
