We dropped in off the street to hire a car and were not disappointed! The staff were brilliant with a special thanks to Charlotte for her friendly, professional and accommodating service.
The team worked well to get a car ready for us at short notice. I could not fault the experience and I’m looking forward to driving on a little get away with my lovely hire car. We will be back to organize our next hire.

Make sure everything is absolutely perfect with your documents as there is no flexibility or empathy from staff. Having just relocated and having to live in temporary accommodation and not being able to update my address on my licence due to Covid 19 I found myself today not being able to hire a van with Days. I had a passport, licence and utility bills. All were acceptable with Enterprise however, a much better service, great staff and most importantly much much cheaper!

Requested a rental with insurance excess, offered an alternative size van and quoted a price without excess. Then on the day I pick it up I have no choice but to pay £60 more than the original quote - I did explcitily ask for a callback to confirm details but no one bothered.

Additionally the van had a glass rear window, when I questioned the safety of moving large items they suggested tie down straps, if I had tie down straps I'd probably already have a van!

Finally very unhelpful with returning vans outside of the set times.

I've just bought a car from Days it was so easy and the staff were very nice and so easy to talk to I can't tell you if the car is a good one yet but I hope it is 🤞 only time will tell

Rented a medium van from Days Rental for 24 hours, got a brilliant 71 plate Boxer, clean and fresh inside and perfect for what I needed. Staff were friendly and professional, and all for a very reasonable price - cheaper than Hertz, Europcar etc in the area. Would absolutely use again.

The gentleman in the office was rude with no customer service skills what so ever, a right miserable jobsworth , when we went to hire a van on the day we were moving , as if moving was not stressful enough.
We checked we had all the ID that was needed, but because we were moving we only had one documentation with our new address on ..
Hello ........we were moving to a new address !! How would we have any bills with our new address on like the man was requesting , so we had to go back home to bring extra ID , we had already taken more that was in the list !!! This wasted over an hour and anyone that has moved will understand every hour counts when we had a time limit to do everything .
So Please pass this onto the gentleman who was working at 9:15 am on 06:05/2021 and maybe sign him up for some customer service training , I understand that you have to have the correct paperwork but it was his attitude that was so awful he showed no empathy in fact he was quite smug about it all !!!
Would not use again or recommend to anyone.

Got a really good quote online for a weekend hire. Get confirmation email that puts the price up by over £100 because they are not open on Bank Holidays yet they still expect me to pay even though I don't want the extra day. Yet the booking system allows a quote to be given. Completely unhelpful
