Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Merthyr Tydfil

Stay away!! Had to use this car hire not through choice but via company insurance. Car full of marks and scratches, mud in boot, not the cleanest. Refused to accept car, was reassured it would be fine as none of the marks were any bigger than 5 inches. Took my own photos of car. Had an email 1 and a half months down the line at 10pm at night stating I have to pay £193.23p due to a scratch on the front of the car which was already there. Being made out to be a liar, I have contacted citizens advice and will be taking it further. Car was dropped off by a girl from Pontypridd branch and collect by a guy Merthyr Tydfil branch due to covid 19 and not many staff, guy who collected had no paper work to go by and said I would hear from them the same day if the scratch wasn't already there to be able to explain and inform them I have pictures from when they dropped it off. The guy seen the pictures and agreed that I shouldn't take responsibility for the damage as it was already there but had to put it down on the paperwork anyway stating I refuse to take responsibility for it and refunded me my deposit the same day and was told not to worry no further action will be required if I'm not contacted the same day. Late dropping off and picking car up, messed about with time. No organisation, very dishonest. Stay away!!

Van delivered to us through vw assist, when van arrived was minor dent in side loading door, raised this with enterprise rep ,was told its that minor ,its just classes as wear and tear, and don’t worry ,however your now invoicing us for a £250 excess and have taken the money off my card without my consent!!

Hired on short notice from this place. Outstanding service from start to finish. Specially would like to thank Rees he was fantastic. Will definitely use again

Rude and unprofessional... Will never use them again

Excellent service was provided here after we had a hire car due to an accident.
When the car was given to us Olivia was both polite and professional. Nothing was to much trouble.
When returning the car joss was also again very helpful and polite. Both these employees are an assets to the company. They didn’t even mind when I couldn’t return the car until a day after I’d received mine back.
Would absolutely recommend using this company.

Was collected from our house by Rhys, who drove us to the branch to pick up our new car. He was very polite, friendly and proffesional. Answered all our questions and gave wonderful service. Would use again!
