Went in yesterday to sell a tablet, Bluetooth keyboard, charger and case. The guy behind the counter dropped the keyboard before saying it's OK without even checking. Said they need to test it, come back in 2 hours. Went back and they said can't accept it, it doesn't charge. Confusing as I'd only had the tablet for a day and it charged fine, asked if it was maybe the charger they said no we've tried multiple chargers it doesn't work. Said OK I'll return it to the original shop as its faulty. They forgot to give the charger back to me so had to go back to the store. Massive queue out the door. Spoke to a member of staff who said you'll just have to wait. Was a busy day Gave me the charger without the box, I asked where it was as I needed it to return the product. They said they threw it in the bin! In the end I just said don't worry I'm not gonna have an employee look through the bin. Went back home, tried a different charger in it and it charged as normal. So they obviously hadn't tried different chargers with it in the store when testing. I understand it was a busy day, just wish the staff hadn't lied about trying different chargers. Absolute waste of a day really as I'll now have to sell it somewhere else.

Clean premises and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Needed a laptop quickly and they had lots to choose from. Subsequently I had to take the laptop back for warranty and everything was dealt with really quickly.

Just want to say a big thank you to member of staff that went up and got the twighlight breaking dawn dvd for my brother I was worried that the stairs and not being able to find film would be too much for him so a big thank you to whoever served him ❤️❤️❤️ worcester store

Called in with an old phone that's just gathering dust at home. Helpful chap at the counter gave me a price, and checked the phone whilst I did a bit of shopping. When I came back, all was done and he gave me the money and I left. A simple transaction. I would have got more value for the phone with instore credit but the cash was much more convenient.

Excellent price paid for console I sold plus decent prices on old games
Customer service was really nice and helpful. I'd definitely use CeX again

A decent variety of games and equipment.
The staff are as polite and enthusiastic as you are ever going to get in a CeX.

They have dvds out on stock and when go and buy it they can’t find it . If it’s on shelf the disks should be behind the counter this happens quite a lot not very organised
