The store is pretty big and has many thingsnisb5hebsecond positive.
The overall experience was rubbish if am comparing it to other cex I've used. As you may know already, these guys sometimes don't know anything about tech you sell to them. Lack of knowledge or understanding of the products. I went to the store only because they had a gopro accessory I wanted which was the closes store. I wanted to double check instead if ordering if indeed it was the right product, 3 way pole 2.0, thankfully I saw it and indeed it was not version 2 but version one. I informed them and told them it's all wrong on the site and showed them the actually gopro site of the accessory and difference, explaining how this is the second store I've come to. It was difficult but, I wanted to trade in my mpk3 midi keyboard, decided just get voucher and it tested. 1, I was not given a trade price or exchange price, just what I wanted and coke back after the test. Came back 1 hour later, everything great, passed the test, but I notice the price was very low fir exchange, I asked if am been charged for the correct device, my version is 3, look like I've been charged for version 1 rate. Because they didn't know or had any idea how to identify my product, they just decided to pick version one, not even version two, based on nothing. It stressed me out standing there in the store, trying to prove they got it wrong, and am told, they don't want to take the risk, its not like I am.
After getting frustrated and tired of going back and forward to different store. I decided to take the low-priced but keep the receipts. Got home, called and emailed the manufacturer, have my serial and asked to prove and send me conformation of my model. I got confirmation, went to cex twitter account to raise the issue and they contacted the store and after 2 days or so confirms, I was right.
All of this was so easily avoidable. For goodness sake, they even had version 3 model in other stores, you would think to ring and check, but no, I had to tell them this.
The guys are okay and friendly, but not great in terms of service and basic knowledge of products or due diligence. I wouldn't recommend it unless you know exactly your stuff and not blindly trust they know what they are selling or buying from you.
Hard work, other cex store is much better.
