I bought a dock from this store online. I got the dock and it came and was cracked in the post, not a functioning item. I thought not much of it and contacted the support online. After stalling me for a week, I was told that they will NOT refund or replace the order since 'they packaged it well'. Whilst I agree that the packaging was adequate, items do break in the post and not refunding items that break in the post is wrong.

Do not buy from this store if you ever expect to see your money back if your item breaks in the post!!!!

Bought an iPhone X with a faulty battery which retrospectively, shouldn’t have been available to purchase in the first place. More recently, I purchased some Airpod pros only to discover they’re £5 more brand new from Amazon. When I went to return them 4 hours later, I was told I could only have a voucher and this was made clear on the receipt?! Surely, you should tell customers at the point of purchase, not after? Friendly staff but you’re left feeling utterly ripped off. I won’t be buying any electronics from them in future.

Tried to con us out of £40 asked why my phone was classed as B grade and staff member said "has minor scratches" asked her to point them out to me and she then changed her story and said its because it doesn't have the headphones with it. Scammers. Will sell it elsewhere

Good levels of stock staff were pleasent to deal with prices could be abit better but times are tough at the moment so i can understand. overall shop cleanliness was good would say its the better store out of the ones local to it.

I've had more luck with electrical goods that I've found in rubbish bins.

I always judge a CEX on its Blu-Ray section, specifically the labels Criterion, Eureka, BFI, Arrow and Indicator.
Guildford is top notch, with new titles in nearly every week. Great place.

I don't understand the low ratings, cex provides a great service for exchanging games, tech and media that others no longer have a use for. You get a brilliant array of used items for affordable prices. You don't need to pay full whack for something you just don't know if you will enjoy or like.

Staff are really helpful and polite, I always enjoy my experience here.
