Wing Tai Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

Fantastic food as always, great staff, the only downside is the decor and flooring needs doing, defo worth a visit though

Will not be using this takeaway again!
The delivery was longer than we where told 45-50 mins - was 1hr 10min which we didn’t mind being a Friday obviously busy! However the food was cold the chips were rock hard and cold !
The whole lot went in the bin !
I called Wing Tai and got a negative response to my request for a refund
We don’t do refunds !!!
I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered
Defo will not use them again - avoid this place at all costs !

Food ok but had to order more duck as came out very small portions. Apparently new manager who we met tonight rude dressed in a grey polo shirt like she was washing up. Will not be returning………….

1st time going to this restaurant it was a birthday meal, most enjoyable lovely food.

Just poor all round, (salt and pepper) chips were undercooked and in the box with veg makes them soggy, no sprice and very plain. Garlic chicken was very watery and flavourless. Low effort, which perfectly described the fortune cookie.

Food was good, portions on the small side but they were more than happy to bring more.

Waited over 1.5 hours for a delivery that was only a 10 min drive.Can’t fault the food,lots of it however it was a set meal for 2 and all seemed to taste the same.Maybe just a bad choice on my part.

Ordered through just eat for 6pm, was amazed by the real low price for a set menu for one person as was sweet n sour balls, chix chop suey and egg rice for under a tenner! food arrived exactly 6pm, portions were massive!
But the pork balls all were the driest , darkest cuts of meat, luckily i could drown then in sauce but still like chewing leather.
The chop suey was better, the chicken was nice but it just didn't have much flavour tasted like watered down sweet n sour.
The rice was hard, it was also very dry, when I decided I could not possibly eat anymore I had to rinse my mouth out multiple times to get out all the dry sticky mess between my gums and mouth walls.
I am giving 2 stars because delivery driver was on time, the order was correct, the price was good and the portions are very generous just let down by the quality of my order. I hope this was a one off, as my parents tell me this is the only takeaway they use.
