Bamboo Garden

First time visiting Guildford and thought me and my husband could try this place out - it was delicious to say the least. We ordered Singaporean noodles, BBQ ribs, Chicken curry and some other mains and they were all superb. Definitely going back whenever we visit Guildford again (very good location as it is opposite the train station).

They forgot to add a dish that we paid for, so we called them and they delivered it to our hotel without a problem. However, it was still quite overpriced for what it was. Soups we had did not have much chicken in them. Sweet and sour chicken and Chinese pork was okay.

Apsolutly disgusting service. Get told my bill is £20.40 when ordered on the phone Delivery came. £25.40.
The bloke I spoke to was rude and childish on the phone wanting to take half the order back.
Scamming people offering delivery but then charging for it at the door. I will always go else where now. Must have a new person working because never come across this plonker before.

They obviously don't take card so they can hide their earnings and not pay tax like everyone else. Why's no one reported them to HMRC yet for an investigation?

The home style meat (pork belly) with chowmein warmed the soul.
I’d also recommend the char siu with rice and seaweed.
I can’t tell if i was just especially hungry but the crispy duck rolls were divine.

Ordered and collected in 15 minutes.

Sometimes old school Chinese is just the right meal. Nothing fancy & just like we had back in the 70's & 80's. Reasonably priced & great tasting. Just don't expect a modern culinary experience.

Ordered a Bamboo Garden tonight and ordered a Thai Green curry and chips and my partner had chicken omelette and chips. My curry was excellent!! We order from this place regularly, sometimes it is just ok, but tonight it was delicious! Whoever the chef was tonight keep them on every night!

The salt chilli peppercorn chips with white and spring onion and green chilli's was tasty all the food looked appetising the satay sauce was creamy could have tasted more nutty. The polish delivery driver was offensive.
