A very spacious shop with a very good.array of merchandise at extremely reasonable prices.
The.home wear section has a fantastic selection of kitchen items that are extremely modern in their design. The men's section was a lot more focused upon that the female clothes section that I found the designed very monotonous.
However I couldn't find a single member of the staff on the floor to ask them a question.
The queue was long but it moved quite quickly. They also refund the parking ticket.the parking facilities are really good as well.

Love this store. Could do with some more guys clothing. But everything a girl could need.
Household goods are well made and a good price.
Have never met a member of staff that wasn't happy & helpful.

Absolutely awful!! You can no longer try any clothes or shoes on, which I understand given the current situation with Covid. However, the tills have changed so there’s only ever 2 members of staff maximum that can serve at one time. 6 other tills are self serve when paying by card only. I had to queue for 30 minutes Friday morning at 9:30am as there was only one member of staff on the tills and the queue was formed of customers picking up an online order, exchanging or returning items. I will not be ordering online again and I can’t imagine how long you will have to queue during the Christmas period. It’s a shame as I liked shopping in Matalan but it’s not worth 30 minutes queueing for!

Would give zero stars is allowed. Disgraceful customer service. Queuing for half hour so far just to exchange. The queue is 14 people and 1 till open for exchanges... seriously slow service. No manager to be seen. Instead of other staff member asking what transaction we are doing she could jump on a til. Poorest service I have witnessed ever is all I can say.

I don’t really understand why they have free standing mirrors in the shop if they don’t let you try things on top of your T-shirt. The checkout was slow and have to wait a long queue. Price not too bad but not even good.

Waited for 30 mins in line because we payed cash and was busy standing around talking instead of opening another till. Incredible slow service.

Terrible service! Long queues. If you want to pay cash you have to queue with all the collections, exchanges and refunds. This is unacceptable for the elderly who don't carry credit cards or have mobile apps to pay! And why does this place close SO EARLY?!?!? Some people work until until 6pm so have no choice but to visit on the weekend when it's rammed and you queue for up to 40 minutes to pay cash. WORSE STORE EVER

Awful customer service, would have rated zero stars if possible. Made online order with a discount voucher, which was applied and not given. When queried was told that l could not be refunded the discount and l could not cancel the order which l have yet to receive. I believe this to be fraudulent as the discount vouchers when applied work but do not deduct the amount and there is nothing you can do about it.
