A 45 minute wait for breakfast for 2 with 2 slices of toast. It still didn't come out together with the tomato being raw poached egg was too cooked. Side of 2 slices of toast being white and not grilled and without butter . After a five minute wait for the 2nd breakfast informed that we would haveto wait some more, left without eating breakfast as we had totally lost our appetite seeing what had been served to us. It lacked any sort of professionalism in kitchen or in the service. End result £25 for 2 coffees and 2 fruit juices and a trip somewhere else for breakfast. The worst breakfast in Norwich! Good luck to anyone with any knowledge of food enjoying this establishment.
Also anyone who's eaten here since the 15th of July should check their receipt as we were charged 20% vat on everything while it should be 5% on everything but alcohol . Let's hope this is an honest mistake.

Lovely space for meeting friends, very comfortable and friendly staff. It is a great coffee house, that provides a very small selection of food such as warm baps, and soup. If you're looking for a substantial meal this is not the place. However the coffee is delicious and the bacon bap and wedges were tasty too.

I love coming to the Mitre to work. Tasty drinks and treats, and Sarah is such a friendly face to see. Dog friendly, which is a huge bonus!

Such a lovely vibe here! Beautiful natural light, spacious yet cozy - a brilliant quiet place to set up camp and study for the day. Coffee was nice and the pastries were lovely!

This is my third attempt at having coffee at Mitre. The last 2 attempts did not go well, with the coffee machine not working on one occasion and the outlet ready to close at 1500hrs on another. This time around, I did get my coffee which was good but there was limited selection of food with just one lonely sandwich remaining at lunch time. And so I went for a croissant, which I had to tear into as it was cold and feeling sorry for itself. The service and ambience were OK, but all in all a rather disappointing experience. Maybe I was expecting a lot and others might have better things to say.

There's a Nordic quality to the interior of this former traditional pub. The coffee (flat white) was superb. The staff personable, and the interior stylish, spacious and temperate. Was a perfect 20 mins.

Great old building, used to come here when it was the Mitre pub. I knew one of the chaps who worked behind the bar at the bowls club round the back. I came here and had a delightful Soya Mocha and a ham and cheese croissant. My friend had a couple of diet colas.

Exceptional cafe. Always friendly, welcoming and great coffee. Bright and clean environment. Very tempting menu and cakes. Weather-permitting, seating outside. All just round the corner, too...luxury but not expensive. Highly recommended cafe.
